Sizzle....it sounds like hubby is in the right place where he can get better quick and be at home with you very soon.

Don't be alarmed that they want a bone marrow sample. It's just a way of testing if he's losing blood/iron from somewhere or his body is failing to absorb what it needs and why. My nan has anaemia and has to go for transfusions every few months for the past several years. A cause has never been found but we look at that as a good thing! Will be thinking of you and hubby. Wishing him a speedy recovery

Sizzle81 · 06/07/2015 22:14

Thank you Crunchy and Suz.
That is great to know 3princes, thank you xx

Indomitable · 06/07/2015 22:55

That sounds frightening, Sizzle. Hope it all works out positively & swiftly. FlowersBrew

birchygoo · 06/07/2015 23:15

just catching up on all the posts today as I have been so busy today, work followed by zumba then dinner and now eventually relaxing

carrot yes I will test the 9th let's do this together!

Pallas I'm so glad that you got good news!

sizzle I'm so sorry that you are having a rough time and that dh is ill. im hoping he will be home with you again shortly. Wine

my update today is I have fertility appt on 22nd July. fx I won't be needing it

Itsme247 · 07/07/2015 06:15

On holiday but checking in ladies. Hope everyone is well! Birchy I have my fertility appt on the 17 July too x

marmitemofo · 07/07/2015 07:01

sorry to hear that sizzle, sounds horrible and stressful. hope they get to the root of the problem soon. Thanks

congrats pallas must be such a huge relief for you both Smile

suz looks very near the surge to me, I'd just get shagging now and every day if you can and keep poas till the second opk line is gone Smile

fuba with DD my first symptom oddly enough was really sensitive teeth! and I mean really sensitive, walking on a cold windy day in February and my teeth were hurting like mad. I looked it up on the internet and apparently it is one of those random symptoms some people get due to increased blood flow or something. anyway other than that no symptoms till 6 weeks or so. stabby boobs is a symptom I think, I've had a bit of stabby boobs the last week but not anything major.

marmitemofo · 07/07/2015 07:03

oops meant really sensitive teeth

CarrotVan · 07/07/2015 07:51

You poor thing sizzle that sounds terrifying. fx for a swift diagnosis of done thing very treatable

suz I use a little glass tea light holder

fuba my early signs were tiredness, nausea first thing/late morning/ early evening, nausea when brushing teeth, going off caffeine and sugar in tea, sore boobs, achy crampy pelvis. I have all of these right now but BFN yesterday (too early, I know)

Absolutely fx you don't need that appointment birchy but if you do at least there are a few people here to share the journey

vikki get some cheap opks from Amazon and at least you'll be able to work out ovulation dates roughly. Might make you feel a bit more in control

Given my wtf cycle was 30 days why is FF saying this cycle will be 26 days? Is it based on lp phase length or something?

OP posts:
CarrotVan · 07/07/2015 08:50

I nearly threw up on the way to the office from the station. If this is all psychosomatic I'm going to be really pissed off with my brain. It could be a stomach bug I suppose

Rachelc82 · 07/07/2015 09:25

Fx for you carrot ????

3Princes99 · 07/07/2015 09:35

Carrot....If ovulation is detected by temp or sticks your lp will be a max of 14 days. Maybe that's why?

CarrotVan · 07/07/2015 09:43

FF thinks it's 12 days though. I've just looked at last cycle (WTF) on FF and it was 12 days then. So due tomorrow on that basis or Friday if you assume 14 days (which it was pre-MC)

Oh carrot that sounds like a promising symptom.

i am just peeing lots - but that might have more to do with the fact im drinking lots! Hmm

MyNameIsSuz · 07/07/2015 16:15

Ooh carrot I don't know how you haven't tested yet! When are you testing?

My opk was lighter today so will keep dtd but think I'm tentatively entering the 2ww. Which means I'll be testing around my birthday, so either doubly celebrating or commiserating with lots of lovely cocktails Smile

CarrotVan · 07/07/2015 16:25

I have! I got a BFN yesterday so I'm holding out to test with birchy on Thursday

OP posts:
MyNameIsSuz · 07/07/2015 16:55

Oops, sorry, must have missed that! Fx for Thursday!

Emilygremily · 07/07/2015 17:07

Oh well not out until AF shows or BFN.

CarrotVan · 07/07/2015 17:10

That's the spirit emily. Are you all settled in or do you have lots to do in the new place?

OP posts:
Emilygremily · 07/07/2015 17:13

Haha we have lots to do :( Didn't check curtains until we went to bed last night we had no blinds and we have bright street lights. Nursery Spare room is a dumping room currently and we have no food in the house so got up this morning and ate unhealthy which is not something i like to do but i fancied a mc muffin from mcdonalds haha.

CarrotVan · 07/07/2015 17:24

OP posts:
Emilygremily · 07/07/2015 17:27

That is indeed what happened / happening tonight but hopefully it will be slightly more organised tonight Grin

PallasCat · 07/07/2015 19:23

Aww lovely to hear you've moved in, Emily! So exciting hey, even if a bit chaotic at first?!
FX for you Carrot - the symptoms do indeed sound promising... and for you birch!
Sizzle... any news...? x

louwn · 07/07/2015 20:04

I did my first OPK today, CD10 as instructed by SMEP. Trying that this month to see if I can get me a BFP!
