TTC for 10 months, 1 day late and BFN. Help!

Hi there

I'm 36 and been TTC for our first for 10 months. So we've been using the clear blue ovulation tester thing and this month we got down to it on all the fertile days (flashy smiley face and peak smiley face). Felt really tired from 3DPO then a week or so ago I felt like AF was going to arrive. (TMI alert) Got a small green lump of bogey like goo and since then it's been either yellow or clear ever since. Was meant to see AF yesterday but even though there was cramping, she hasn't arrived. Tested first wee this morning and BFN. Otherwise I've been bloated and really narky for the last week or so.

Anyone experienced being pregnant but getting BFN on day of missed period. Any thoughts really welcome.

I had pretty similar symptoms to you and tested negative until about 4 days after my period was due. I tried a first response test and everything. I was exhausted, felt dizzy when I bent down and had some unusual cramping too.

My DD is 3! I saw your post in Active conversations and had to reply - I still remember the confusing feeling of being late, knowing something was up, but getting (several) negative results. I'll keep fingers crossed for you!

Just a quick update as AF has arrived 4 days late! Quite the tardy lass she is! Thanks for responding, hearing your experience really helped in the uncertain few days, even if the results weren't the same.

Hi Georgette - sorry it wasn't what you'd hoped for. It's hard on our emotions this Ttc.

I was 8 days late before I got a positive, tested every day with negatives. It's not over yet, good luck!!

Sorry I didn't read whole thread, good luck for next month. I had this two months in a row and the second one was a keeper

I know it's really hard when you want to be pregnant but if you can persuade yourself NOT to test till at least 5 days late you will spare yourself some uncertainty and upset. Really hope the next cycle is the one for you
