Hi ladies! I am 33 and have been trying to get preggars 6months now :( feels like forever. my partner has two children from prev relationship (marriage) and his ex fell pregnant straight away apparently, my younger sister-by 6 yrs is pregnant with her 2nd which happened 2 months into her relationship ! I have been really positive this month but my period is due wed and now i have brown spotting-meaning am out again. I guess i am just on a downer now... this sucks. I have a regular 28 day cycle and ovulate day 13 (opk) and have sex at least every other day! eating more healthily and tried fertilcm to help. I have worked with children for years and so long for my own. I am addicted to these threads and love how everyone is so supportive of one another! Fairy dust to us all!x

Hi Ladies, how's everyone getting on?

I am totally confused as to what's going on but I think it's just my body working it's way back to natural cycles again.

It was my second cycle but I didn't see any EWCM around day 14 nor positive OPK (as I did last month) although I wasn't testing regularly, then I went away for 2 weeks for work and now it's CD34 according to Ovia but still no sign of ovulation or AF except having sore boobs on and off for 2 weeks.

How long was your last cycle? I always think sore boobs are a good sign!! Unless you usally get that when AF comes ?

Banana, think I would be tempted to do a test (but any excuse for me) x

1st cycle was about 35 days, tested on Monday and BFN. Never regularly get sore boobs, although tender would be more accurate. I think my body is just messing me around

I'm on cd13 and apparently today is peak day according to ovia

Ovia shifted my window around a bit but I played safe and made sure I was getting the action in just in case. Keeping well hydrated, no booze (rubbish) and started taking seven seas once a day vitamins for conception - fingers crossed!!

Hope you're feeling ok today, I've been trying since the start of the year and I already feel ridiculously impatient and frustrated.

I'm on CD 7 today so am armed with my cough syrup ready for next week and pineapple for the week after. The things we try x

Well apparently Robitussin cough syrup for a few days before ovulation is meant to help with cervical mucus, and eating fresh pineapple for five days after ovulation is meant to help implantation. I really don't know if it'll help but I'm willing to try anything x

Meant that was what I was lacking not liking! Sounds worth a try, especially the implantation part..

I've had 2 occasions whereby I've been late for my period by 4/5 days, have symptoms and keep my fingers crossed I'm pregnant but always end up menstruating think my problem is to do with implanting the egg so will deep give the pineapple one a try!

Still no sign of AF, so annoying as I want it to be over to start a new cycle. I'm so impatient!

Was out last night with 3 friends, all younger than me who all have babies and then when I got home DH told me that another friend is pregnant, they started trying a few weeks before us, feeling pretty crappy today :(

I know exactly how you feel, 2 friends of mine recently told me they are expecting too, they weren't even trying! Also I now have 2 baby showers to go to which I'm (ashamed to say) trying to find excuses for already!

We have good day and bad days but as my DH always reassures me 'I WILL happen!' X

I know what you mean, some of my good friends are pregnant at the mo, some of them were accidents, and although I'm happy for them its always hard to hear. X

Yeah was definitely BFN, used my back up digital test to make sure.

But decided to do OPK this morning on a whim and got a faint line, WTF? Maybe it was the jet lag or work/house buying stress delaying things, who knows?! I remember missing periods whenever I had exams. So fingers crossed for this month.

Thanks for "listening" to me being mopey and self-centered, I feel awful that my first reaction to my friend's news was to cry but at least I can vent on here instead of real life.

No worries Banana, thats we what are here for, and definitely don't think your being self-centred. Any news on AF or do you think you'vr started a new cycle now? X

I think maybe it's just a really long cycle, I'm on d40 today but still had a really faint OPK this morning.

Well I'm supposedly on cd54 now of what I think is my second cycle. I had definite EWCM last Thursday (cd49) but we hadn't dtd since the prior Saturday (as I wasn't expecting it) and annoyingly I was away for a work trip so didn't see DH until Saturday just gone so I think we've missed the boat. The EWCM only seems to last one day, I don't know if that's normal.

Also my friend who I was talking about upthread has a miscarriage :(
