mistletoe I think taking a step back is a great idea. I did it not long ago and it really helped. Ttc effects people (and their relationships) a lot more than they like to admit. Go, have fun, and come back when you're ready.
ponty I think we've all been there. Me and DH forged ahead once when we were both exhausted and ended up having to stop because it felt so wrong. Maybe dtd today and tomorrow instead?
chandelier I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you!
sirboobalot welcome. I hope you find the thread helpful.
I'm so sorry about your mc.
Do you have any diagnosed problems? And how old are you?
The questions are so people who are in a similar position can give you more helpful advice and we're all nosy on this thread
pebbles how annoying that you're still waiting for AF.
What sort of dog do you have? I have 3 terriers and people often make comments about them being my 'babies' and seem to assume I have them because I don't want a child implying that obviously dogs and babies cannot live in the same house I agree with chandelier, people just don't think before speaking.
dollface I think the consultant should be there when you have your scan so they can talk about it straight away. It's like a form of torture to wait to get results.
I did think possible BFP when you posted but didn't want to get your hopes up. Fingers crossed though. When is your appointment?
freddiesmother those results are great! Fingers crossed for you too this month!
rufus how did your scan go?
bananafish your results are confusing but it's good that your Dr is pushing things forward for you.
How are you getting on with clomid? What dose are you on? I increased to 150mg this cycle and finished them on Sunday. Side effects weren't anywhere near as bad as last time.
ellewalk Welcome to the thread. I know pcos diagnosis can be devastating, but lots of people get pregnant with it and you're very early into your diagnosis. Also, I would ask for some further investigations before accepting the diagnosis - the implant can wreak havoc with your hormones and it can take a long time for them to settle down. Also, pcos is usually diagnosed after several blood tests over several cycles and usually an ultrasound / internal scan.
Has your gp referred you to gynae/ante-natal yet, as that is the best way to get tests and treatment.
Well done on your weight loss and being so proactive in your approach, but I would ask if you can have day 3 and 21 bloods done on every cycle for 3 or 4 so your Dr has a better idea of what's happening.
As for me, I'm on cd 11, on my first cycle of 150mg clomid. Side effects haven't been too bad - one mini meltdown, some hot flushes and a bit of trouble sleeping. Will be dtd every other day from today and doing my best to stay positive (I'm 30 soon and really thought I'd have a baby by now)
Good luck to everyone
