Are there any negative implications for a faint line?

Hello! Normally a bit of a lurker but going out of my mind this morning! I'm 1ish day late for my period and took a test yesterday evening. After about 5 minutes I thought I could see a v faint line but thought I could also be imagining it! This morning I've tested again and after 5 minutes again there is a faint line - I'm 100% there is a line but it is v v faint. When I tested for my pregnancy with my DS I had a very strong line straight away. Could this faint a line mean something else - chemical pregnancy etc? Do I just need to chill?

Mine was very faint like barely there the day after missed p. The next day did a digital which was very clear. A few days later did a normal still v clear. Took about 1 week after missed p to be a STRONG line but I'm 10w on Monday and trust me do I feel pg!

I don't think you should read anything into it. The hormone levels will increase quickly. Congrats!

My barely there line is now sat on my lap watching tv. A line is a line.

When I got my BFP I had peed on a FRER and a CB (non-digital) and the lines were so faint that my DH didn't actually take much notice and thought I was getting over excited about nothing. His reaction was quite an anti-climax. This was on the day my period was due.

The following day peed on an internet cheapie and it was a definite BFN and it was the same the next morning.

Because my period still hadn't showed up two days after expected I tried again with a FRER and I got a faint line again but it was a bit darker to the point where DH actually believed it.

I didn't get strong results on a FRER or CB (non-digital) until about a week after my period was due.

My faint line is now 14 months old and messing about in his cot instead of having his morning nap like he's supposed to

I've just taken another test and the line is stronger and came up in the right time frame! I'm so happy and freaking out all at the same time! Thank you all for your kind words.
