hi,

after 7 day break on the pill, i went to take my next packet and had lost my pills,

so havent taken any this month,

me & DF have fooled around a bit, hes been inside me unprotected, but not 'come'

i wasnt too bothered as i think the chances of getting PG this way are slim,

but my MIL mentioned today she got PG with her 2nd child, not by having actual sex but by 'messing about' now im panicking,

i dont even know when my period is due, but i know it wouldnt arrive on time if i wasnt pregnant as i stopped the pill and it messed you up,

so my questions are...

what are the chances??
should i do a test before i start the pill again?
and when can i restart the pill?

thanks

Start your next pack on the first day of your next period. Then you will know if your pregnant if your next period doesnt come. I personally think its doubtful you are pregnant. It can take ages to get back to normal after comming off the pill.

oooh crikey. I wish it was that easy to fall pregnant... there are lots of us on here that would love to "fool about" and get pregnant. I always read as a teenager that it was possible to get pregnant that way but now I am not quite sure. You'd have to be incredibly lucky (or unlucky depending on which way you look at it?) to fall pregnant without the strongest swimmers up there...

Sorry I realise that I am not actually of any help to you. Perhaps do a test at about 28 days since your 7 day pill break??

lulumama · 12/11/2006 19:42

oooops.....!!

does not matter if he has come inside you.....men release seminal fluid before ejaculation that contains sperm....so if you were ovulating , there is a chance you could get pregnant like this......it is not a terribly efficient way of not getting pregnant..

when was your last period?

when were you supposed to start new packet?

how long since last messing about?

would it be really bad if you were pregnant?

i would not restart the pill until you know.....one way or the other....or how about different contraception..eg a coil..then no problem if lose or forget pills....?

well ive got 2 kids, and fell really easily with both of them (within 2-3 months of kinda trying)

i dont think its likely, but i must be possible if it happened to MIL, and i would just be my luck!!

ive got a 23 month old and 5 month old, btw

Sorry, I am sure it is possible all I meant is that it can't be too likely??

BIGlilBUBU · 12/11/2006 19:49

Just wait and see if you come on. You cant start the pill untill your on anyway. If you dont come on then you know.

kittylette · 12/11/2006 19:58

due on around 19th november i reckon...based on the last date being 23rd october....and a 28 day cycle!

lulumama · 12/11/2006 20:28

and as already said, can;t start pill till you come on....have to play the waiting game now...

peegeeweegee · 22/11/2006 21:10

22nd of November now - what happened?? [insert nosey emoticon here]

gemmiegoatlegs · 22/11/2006 21:12

whilst its possible you are pg, very unlikely. I was reading the other day that a woman who is not using contraception, has frequent sex in good health with no other problems has an 18% chance of conceiving in any month.
