I took 100mg vitamin B complex last month, but it made me ill and lethargic so stopped it when af arrived. I have also been very stress this month. Don't know whether to keep using opk or trying to BD as Af is due in 11 days :-S

doomkittycleo · 03/08/2015 11:24

Sorry for the repeat, it didn't show up first time so thought it hadn't sent.

fuzzywuzzy · 03/08/2015 13:11

Doom when did you begin testing? I have a 25 day cycle and ov CD 13 except for the last month when I ov'ed cd 15.

You might have missed the surge this month is that possible? What CD are you on currently?

doomkittycleo · 03/08/2015 13:39

I started testing day 7 and am now on day 18.

doomkittycleo · 04/08/2015 07:11

Well sh*t me sideways. Just got my peak at 19 dpo. Not BD in over a week. Best get onto DP tonight.

fuzzywuzzy · 04/08/2015 08:57

lol, glad you got your peak. Do you think you have been missing your peak previously?

I do think OPK's are a mixed blessing.

Good luck with the BDing

doomkittycleo · 04/08/2015 09:47

No, my peak is normally day 13-15. I've used opk's almost every month. I'm putting the delay down to either the B complex or stress this cycle. My cycles are usually only 26 days.

doomkittycleo · 04/08/2015 20:45

Ok success :-) got my peak this morning and managed to BD this evening. Also have used concieve plus and softcups to hold everything where it needs to be. Will try again tomorrow but absolutely made up after waiting for a solid smiley face for 12 days.

Let the 2ww begin!

handbags88 · 05/08/2015 10:52

Doom I'm taking 40mg of b complex and I've found that it really pushes back my ovulation date. I'm also normally 26 days but this month my cycle was 30 days on vitamin b, the month before 29.
I'm going to try only taking it after ovulation this month, I've heard some ladies say that this has worked for them - I'm willing to give it a go!
Good luck for your tww!

Rememberallball · 05/08/2015 14:04

Very strange 24 hours here in remember towers! !

Following on from last cycle's progesterone of 26 on d21 I got some left sided pain yesterday - bit like a stitch. Also had flashing smiley face on Clearblue opk. All good so far for cd9.

DP and I are following SMEP again this month - well, it can't do any harm can it!! We managed dtd on d8 and d9 (dp was in the mood last night!) This morning we had an early session too then, when I got up for work and did my opk I had fixed smiley face - so today is likely to be ov day!!

Now I'm wondering if the pain last night/this morning is ovulation pain - not something I usually get but would fit with the smiley opk today!!

What do people think?

handbags88 · 05/08/2015 15:02

I've had this before - sounds promising! Smile

fuzzywuzzy · 05/08/2015 16:19

I get ov pains it's very like a stitc, I think it is very possible you felt ov pains Remember.

Good luck on your TWW Doom.

Starting the run up to OV here as well.

doomkittycleo · 05/08/2015 19:16

I agree ovulation pains are like a stitch, close to your hip area. Sounds good Remember X

Rememberallball · 05/08/2015 22:39

Gosh, Doom, you could have been sat here looking at me as you wrote that. The pain, if I had to pinpoint it, was right above my left hip.

My only niggle about it was how long it lasted - can anyone tell me if ov pain would last, perhaps, 12-15 hours?

I guess I'm now in my tww!!

fuzzywuzzy · 06/08/2015 04:46

Mine last about a day and a half, pain intensifies as the day progresses.

I think it varies for people.

doomkittycleo · 06/08/2015 06:38

It can vary from one person to the next hour long it lasts. I usually get a few niggles leading up to ovulation, then it gets more noticeable for a few hours on and off.

You can get some twinges afterwards too. Caused by the irritation of the follicle rupturing as the egg is released.

Rememberallball · 06/08/2015 13:31

Thanks Doom and Fuzzy.

This is why I love this group. Any questions, worries or niggles and we can ask each other on here without feeling stupid - at least that's how I feel xx

Mayo, good to hear from you. Although the B complex has lengthened my cycle it also made me feel really lethargic and gave me a bit of a gassy tummy. I stopped taking it at the start of this cycle because it made me feel ill.

handbags88 · 07/08/2015 13:23

How is everyone doing? I'm on cycle day 8, just started taking the vitamin b for this cycle (6). I've started DH on a healthier diet as I think this might be a factor.
I'm also thinking of temping etc from next month if no success this month - but no idea how to go about it! I've just bought Toni Weschler's book, hopefully this will give me a clue Confused worried in case this just stresses me more!

Rememberallball · 07/08/2015 14:45

Firmly in my tww here, handbags.
Determined not to symptom spot if I can help it this cycle but know I'll be looking for anything that might lead to a bfp!!

Got my hen do this weekend to look forward to and dp is off to Cornwall (where his son and other relatives live) for his stag do. Then, on Wednesday, we're off to see the fertility clinic but, that day is also 9dpo, so we'll probably poas before we go to the hospital! !

handbags88 · 07/08/2015 14:58

That sounds good - something to take your mind off the tww! It's so hard not to symptom spot, I think I'm particularly guilty there... Grin
Have a lovely time at your hen do and good luck at the clinic!

doomkittycleo · 07/08/2015 17:48

I'm now on day 22, think this will be a long cycle cus I only ovulated on day 19 so early days of 2ww.

We tried every trick in the book this month, ClearBlue opk's as part of the trial, concieve plus lubricant and softcups, acupuncture and BD day of first peak and next 2 days too. Would have done earlier but had stopped trying as I thought I wasn't going to ovulate this month with it being so late.

Guess it was a blessing in disguise really as DP had man flu around my usual ovulation time (guess things happen for a reason)

Now just gotta keep from obsessing for the next 2 weeks.

Feeling OK except for just having been stung by a wasp on my thigh :(

Rememberallball · 07/08/2015 21:04

Doom, it sounds like we're at about the same point in the tww even though you're later in your cycle than I am in mine.

Whem do you think you'll poas?

doomkittycleo · 07/08/2015 23:27

I'm not going to do it until I'm at least 14dpo if I can help myself.
