Wax - omg that was so me last month! I got 4 flashing smileys and then a peak. My temps confirmed I ovulated the day before I peaked! I didn't know that was common.

Wax - I know what you mean about the 2ww torture. I'm thinking about just completely forgetting about it this time. Is that even possible? Seriously doubt it

So I have a question....fertility friend is now showing tomorrow as ov day based on my static smiley today. Fine. But it's showing my period as being due 1 July and recommending 3 July as the day to test. Why so late? That would be 19 dpo! And I dont need to wait til 2 days after AF is due! Does it do that for anyone else?

Wax - FF adds on a few days to be safe. Take it with a pinch of salt. It basis it's information on previous women's stats and when they got their bfps so it just routinely advises to wait a few extra days so that you can be sure...us patient girls don't wait though

It is funny how we're all just staring at our apps, adding in dtd and opk symbols and then staring at it hoping it will change

Oh Ava I'm sorry. It's so frustrating. I've had a couple of nights like that. We've only dtd 4 times so far compared to our 7 last month. The important thing is that you've got swimmers up there waiting and you have. You've done really well x

Pear we definitely did put more effort in - this month we dtd for 7 days running (2 flashing smileys, then fixed smiley & 4 days after) then also eod before that! Also I read somewhere that it helps if the woman orgasms so tried to make sure that happened too sorry for tmi but sharing just in case it helps anyone!

He said he wasn't expecting us to dtd tonight (just doesn't listen) and he knew I wasn't happy (true) and he's tired (aren't we walk?!) Argh! What do I do? Do I try my local boots and spend £23.99 on more flashing smileys sticks or do I crack open the box CB sent me? (Costs £16 on Amazon). They're the old sticks that only detect 2 days of the LH surge (which is the part I'm looking for).

I just can't believe my body is failing again! I really thought I had returned to normal I have really bad hayfevwe this week. That can't be effecting things can it? Surely not.

Btw I'm not taking any drugs for my hayfever. Just eye drops and a pregnant friendly nose spray that is rubbish. Apparently the tablets are not good for ttc as it dries up cm.

I've been wondering what happens if you run out of sticks too. So I started testing on Friday (cd7) and today (cd9) got my first ever flashing smiley! I'm so excited as I really thought I wouldn't be doing anything as ds is still bf so much. I think since af returned I've been less worried about reducing feeds as I was only doing so to trigger that. So I guess I'll be saying no to cocktails today

Pear, I don't get much Ewcm so we used preseed & I would recommend it. I'd buy some more sticks from boots but remember you have to use the same holder that you have used so far this cycle! Good luck to all

So, on the reminder that I didn't want to spend anymore money on sticks this month I've cracked open my CB old style smiley sticks. It shows no smiley face. Guess I'll keep going until I get one!

Oh Ava and pwar, how frustrating for you both! But pear don't despair - I'm sure mumof1 was the person who got 9 flashing in a row before her static, and she's clearly all in working order! I'd open a new box and if you dont need the sticks next month (fx!) sell them on ebay.
