TTC after Microgynon and irregular periods

Hi all,
Looking for ladies in a similar boat or those who have been in past with BFP success stories!
Stopped taking Microgynon at the end of last year, felt pregnant immediately with withdrawel symtoms (obviously wasn't) and didn't get first AF unti lcd76 and was v light and not really a period. Cue joy when got a 'real' period on cd36 - I thought my cycle was 'back on track'. However now cd 40 and nothing - got a late +opk on cd32 so really not sure what's going on.
Has anyone gone through anything similar? I'm taking Seven Seas trying to conceive, agnus castus and have started accupuncture.
Do I just need to wait out my hormones after the pill? How long should I wait until going to the doc?

Hi there. If you got an OPK+ on cd32 then I would think you will see your period around cd46 or 47 (unless PG) if everything is "normal".

Unfortunately I can't give you a success story. I was on microgynon for over 15 years and have been TTC for over 2 years now. No found problems, although my luteal phase is quite short and I can't seem to extend it by any means.

Obviously I can't link the use of the pill for so many years to my fertility issues. Many women conceive with no problems and there is no research to say it affects your fertility.

I think your cycles are probably just still getting back on track, but you could visit your doctor after a year of trying and be referred for some tests.
