No period, negative tests HELP!

Hello. My period is 3 weeks late but I've done two tests and both negative. Does anyone have any experience of this? Could I still be pregnant? I came off the pill a year ago to start trying to conceive after being on it for around 7 years. Before that my periods were very regular and they were like this when I first came off the pill. But in the last few months my period has arrived after 36 days, 40 days... Today is day 50. I really want to be pregnant and I'm worried that if my periods are becoming irregular then I may have trouble conceiving. I've just been away and have had a sudden breakout of spots on my neck, could this be a symptom of early pregnancy? Sorry for long rambling question! x

Ive always told myself that you're not out until Af arrives. You could have ov'd very late this cycle huni. I'd give it a few more days and test again, if it's negative again you could book in with your gp, who might want to do some blood tests to check things over. But I'm pretty sure it's not unusual to have the odd long cycle x

I keep poas even though realistically we are out, have you spoken to your GP, when my AF finay arrives my GP wants me to have a blood test day 1-5 so may be worth a quick call to be prepared?

i am on the exact same boat too! my cycle is usually 28 days on the dot and i am now on day 33 with still no period. ive had really bad cramps for around a week now but still nothing! i am currently not ttc as i already have a son and a daughter and my partner and i have been using condoms but dnt know if maybe one has split? im just a bit worried y i am so late..

oh and forgot to add that i done a hpt this morning and it was negative x

Just to update. I went to docs and he just said to take preg test every couple of weeks and come back when I've missed two or three periods. Otherwise he didn't think it was anything to worry about. So I'll just have to see what happens over next few weeks/months.

im now on day 41 on my cycle still neg tests..this has never happened before except when i was actually pregnant so starting to get worried

Have you thought about going to docs Supermummy? They might be able to put your mind at rest.

I quite randomly missed 2 periods once, was not TTC at time but was planning on starting to. Went to drs and had bloods which were all normal. Period appeared a week after. Conceived 4 months later.

yes going to the docs 2moro. im just scared that I've obviously not ovulated this month & wpuld like another baby at some point..it has just been so random as i had bad period cramps when i was due to come.on and all.of that week but nothing happened

Noyoucantwatchpeppa, were the docs willing to give you blood tests? I've just missed one but doc brushed it under the carpet a bit. Will go back if I miss another one.

Supermummy, know exactly how you feel. It's the not knowing and worrying 'what if' that's the worst. Good luck at the doctor x

so i went to docs and they said I've either just missed a period or I'm pregnant I've to gand in a urine sample in the morning as sometimes the pregnancy tests dont oic up the hormone. so should find out this wk. they wont do blood tests until I'm trying to conceive and unsuccessful x
