We're currently ttc dc2. My periods came back about 18 months ago but remained irregular until I stopped bf in January. They're still slightly irregular but only by a couple of days.
The main issue I'm having is trying to work out the first day of my cycle so when I may be due and can test. Since my periods have returned I've often had a couple of days of very light spotting followed by a couple of days of proper bleeding. Is day 1 when the spotting starts or bleeding proper starts?
so for example, 28 days from last month's start of light spotting will be next Tuesday but if it's heavier bleeding I think next Friday.
Any thoughts? I know it's not a big deal as if I test too early I can then just test again a few days later. I would just like some idea though of when is the earliest I could reasonably expect an accurate result.
