1 positive 1 negative test!!

Today I did 2 pregnancy tests- the first clear blue digital and the second sainsburys. The first was positive and the second negative! Now feel very puzzled. l am only a day late so was very early to test. Any advice? Thanks

You can never be get a false positive, but you can get a false negative. Tests range from 10-40mlUml, with 10 being the most sensitive. Therefore it might have been too soon for you to show on the second test if it is a higher mlUml.

Basically, congratulations, a positive is a positive :-). Test again in a day or two with a 10mluml and fingers crossed you'll get a nice solid line.

Oh and make sure you use the first urine of the day as this has the highest concentration of Hcg hormone.
