Coming off contraception help

Hey guys
I stupidly made the decision that the best contraception for me would be the injection, I've only had one injection and am due to have another one in the middle of June. My husband has now started talking about us trying for another baby, I know that the injection can make it difficult to conceive and wondered if anyone had ever had just one injection and how long it took you to fall pregnant? When I was on the pill I fell pregnant as soon as I stopped, but I know with the injection it can take a lot longer. Just wondered if I have scuppered my chances of conceieving in the next year thank you x

Don't go for your next one!
Some people are lucky and af appears as soon as they come off it and get a bfp 1st month.
I've not been so lucky and am still ttc 19 months on - but I was on depo for 10 years.
Start testing for ovulation after your 1st af. If af arrives and you ovulate you will probably be one of the lucky ones...
Good luck Flowers

Oh thank you for your help! I'm not going to get the next one, sorry what does af stand for? (I'm new to this lol) should I start testing for ovulation once my injection has run out?
