Loving the great scan news, and hoping for a new batch of babies next week from those of you who've been getting your smilies.
Sorry I've been so quiet. Life's been pretty crazy so have been watching from afar.
MIL retiring and relocating to be nearer to us in Edinburgh, work is great but super busy and thankfully my 20 week scan went well, but I've had a bit of a shock that I really should start preparing for maybe actually having a baby and there's just SO much to organise.
I feel a bit detached as it seems so long ago that I did my injections and I miss being part of the trial. It's scarey being out here without that support.
But from my notes the midwife and GP appointments get more regular over the next few weeks.
21 weeks today, it feels like forever but I got a feeling time is going to start to speed up.

clairemorgan81 · 25/06/2015 19:44

lovely to hear from you size and so brilliant all is well.
I guess its a bit strange as were all at different places, some ttc some newly pregnant then you old timers!! haha. its difficult at times for us all.
were here if you ever need a chat size x

philippa88 · 25/06/2015 19:58

Yey it's so nice to hear from you all.. It has been quiet on here!
I'm over the moon for all of you having excellent scans :D
I have my 12 week scan booked in for 3 weeks today, I really wish time would hurry!!! I must admit, like you've all said I do worry about not having the injections and trial appt's!
I'm slowly but surely starting to believe this pregnancy will work but I'm worried about telling people after the 12 week scan! I'm just worried something may still go wrong after that point and I'd have to tell everyone :s
Did any of you wait longer than 12 weeks to go public?
Gl everyone ttc, let's have more positive news on here! :) x

sizethree · 25/06/2015 20:42

I told family and work very early on as I needed the support and time off got the appointments. But we've only just started telling other people now. I wanted to wait til 24 weeks as that's when baby is classified as 'viable', but my tummy has popped out so I can't disguise it.
I'm not doing any dort of Facebook announcement as over the years j have been brought yo tears many times by similar posts. So friends further afield I will tell after the birth.
I still feel like I've hate rashes s party that I've been kicked out of a few times already.

Marchgirl · 25/06/2015 21:09

Nice to hear from you size, maybe one day we can meet up, once we've both got our little ones.

I'm cd9 today claire. No idea when to expect ov as it's been all over the place and not sure if the mc will affect it, but already having some ewcm so hoping it's not far away. Cd13 like last month would be ideal. How about you?

OP posts:
clairemorgan81 · 25/06/2015 21:21

hope ov is around usual time and mc hasn't messed it up this month. I'm CD10 so hoping for it CD14 like last month.
my gp has finally agreed to check progesterone levels and she mentioned an ultrasound as I'm not happy with the brown discharge every month so have to have blood test 7 days before I expect af. I get af different time every month just hope I can guess correctly!x

Kazz2112 · 26/06/2015 06:18

Hi Size. Glad to hear all is well. Did you find out if baby is pink or blue? I find it so reassuring to see the likes of you and choccy on here that are half way to meeting your beautiful babies.

Choccy you are a bad influence. Just done a test 5dpo and it's very blank. But that's to be expected o suppose :( At least I won't be wondering all weekend on my sisters hen do! I'm it sure she realises what's on store for her nut myself and Ted are very excited. Just wish i wasn't so shattered

Not annoyed way! :)

Indiedog · 26/06/2015 08:10

Hi everybody.

Glad everyone is ok,
Lovely hear great scan news, all moving along nicely. Each one is another milestone reached.
Philippa, can't believe time is going so fast! 12 weeks will be here before you know it.

Keeping everything crossed for all who have had their smiley, and those waiting.

I have a bit going on a the mo!
Decided to hand my notice in at work today!!!! There is a lot of stuff going on, nasty bitchy stuff, and I can't be dealing with that. I would only be back in September for 16 working days, so I've thought sod it, go now whilst the goings good. So I will work the rest of the term out, 12 working days for me and finish July 22nd!!!! Then that's it! Plenty of time to let's this baby do its thing!

We also have our scan Sunday, pink or blue HOPEFULLY! After Monday's little mishap with it not wanting to be found, I hope Sunday goes a little better. If we get a good picture, I will try and put it up and you can guess the sex!

Take care all xx

Choccywoccydodah · 26/06/2015 08:26

Won't you lose maternity indie?
Hope your scan goes week and baby behaves this time! You must be so excited!!
need to book ours actually, you've reminded me........

Great to hear from you size and all is ok? Yes did you find out the flavour?

Kazz sorry Blush you never know though!
Hope you have a great hen do weekend, ted looks very happy :)

Had a bit of a panic on the last couple of days as pip has been quiet. Still the odd movement but nothing like what he's been doing. Had a listen in yesterday and all good, then last night he started moving again and also this morning. Such a bloody worry!!!!
23 weeks tomorrow eek!!

Meemsmum · 26/06/2015 09:21

Hi everyone, I haven't posted on here for so long but have been lurking and reading with interest everyone's news! Exciting times on here. Well I have the unwanted title of being the earliest person to miscarry whilst on the trial! That was back in April. We had a month off ttc, saw the recurrent miscarriage consultant who said nothing was wrong and most likely just bad luck. All very frustrating but last week I got my bfp. I am currently 5w2d and feeling pretty anxious as I have practically no symptoms! I'm booked in for a scan when I get back from holidays and at that point I'll be 7 weeks. Fingers crossed. I'm so glad I did the trial as the support I had from the trial nurse then and still now has been amazing. Xx

Marchgirl · 26/06/2015 09:30

Congratulations meems. Delighted to see you back here with good news. Were you an Edinburgh peep as well, I seem to remember? If so i can absolutely imagine the reaction of the consultant (if it was the female one, i found her very unhelpful). Grrrrr. When are they going to change the record and realise that telling people who have mc'd 3 or more times that it's 'just bad luck' is not appropriate. Best wishes for a long and happy pregnancy

Indiedog · 26/06/2015 10:44

Ah meems, lovely to see you with good news. All very worrying times, but keep positive and we are keeping everything crossed for you.

Hay choccy, I won't get maternity pay from work anyway as I don't earn enough. I pay voluntary national insurance, and earn a tiny bit self employed, and a tiny bit working for my hubby. So in theory I will be entitled to Maternity Allowance. I hope!!

Cowgirl0802 · 26/06/2015 11:52

Had a good scan day today. Got to see a little heartbeat. Happy happy Smile

Wonder what that comment was about then ^^

Marchgirl · 26/06/2015 19:44

It was spam. Just loads of links to websites in India. I reported it. Don't know why these people bother. It's not like anyone is going to click them!

OP posts:
Choccywoccydodah · 27/06/2015 11:24

Ah right! I searched the name and they did the same on other threads too but they were all deleted.

What's everyone up to this weekend then?

Marchgirl I'm 8dpo today but haven't yet tested, I'm going to start tomorrow! X

Marchgirl · 28/06/2015 09:38

Good luck with the testing brummie.

Still nothing at 12dpo claire (despite a few days of ewcm and ov pains, but my body often does a 'trial run' or two like this). I'm really hoping the smiley will come this afternoon for ov tomorrow.
