Thank you everyone :)

Urgh I'm not looking forward to this wkend, it's one of the beer festivals this wkend and there's loads of us going - I'm taking the car as 'we're going for a meal later on'! OH is camping there tonight and I'm joining tmrw for the day - it's gonna be hard work watching people get drunk. I wish I could avoid going as we all know what being sober when people are drunk is like :/
Anyone else doing much this wkend? X

Kazz2112 · 19/06/2015 08:23

My DH also wants to go to a local beet festival tonight but I'm exhausted and we're just starting on the ttc waiting for a smiley so I'm not sure I van be arsed.

Otherwise it's exam marking and finalising plans for my sisters hen do next weekend. I'm a total dilemma whether to allow myself a few drinks next weekend. I cut out the booze completely for 3 months until last weekend after af arrived and its not helped.

The tines I have fallen pregnant have been when ive least been expecting it and not 'trying' so hard

Cowgirl0802 · 19/06/2015 15:13

Hi all I have been for my 6 week scan today they couldn't see the heartbeat just sac and yolk I am 5weeks 5 days so to early to see anything they also saw some implantation bleeding at the side of the sac has anyone else had this x

LouiseM1987 · 19/06/2015 16:19

Hey cowgirl yes I had the same only the yolk and sac were seen at my 6 week scan. I thought the worst and they told me to go in a week later and there was a fetal pole with a heart beat I'm now 12 weeks :) are you going back next week ? Xx

Cowgirl0802 · 19/06/2015 16:26

Yes back next Friday. Keeping everything crossed. Well done for getting to 12weeks. It's a roller coaster all this but trying to stay positive x

LouiseM1987 · 19/06/2015 16:40

I've got everything crossed for you too !
I had my last injection last night and I'm already starting to panic. 56 injections you'd of thought I was finished ! Xx

Cowgirl0802 · 19/06/2015 16:47

Thank you. You've come so far now. Bet it's been the longest 12 weeks of your life x

Marchgirl · 19/06/2015 17:11

Sorry you didn't see the hb cowgirl, but i think it is pretty hit and miss whether it's too early to see the hb at that stage. I've often thought maybe they'd have been better doing 7, 9 and 11 weeks to avoid that worry. Fingers crossed for next week

Cowgirl0802 · 19/06/2015 18:33

clairemorgan81 · 19/06/2015 19:08

fingers crossed for you next week cowgirl I'm sure hb will be beating away xx

Indiedog · 20/06/2015 08:59

Hi ladies, been a bit quite as it's been a crappy week at work! Not for me personally but all of us, various things including manager being suspended, my hours being cut in September and other bits n bibs. The bonus is I have worked out how many working days I have left!!! 15 this side of the six weeks hols, and 16 the other side, finish at the start of the October half term. So basically just got to keep my head down and crack in.

Also a little bit anxious, choccy, maybe you can advise. Had a few days now (not in a row) where I've woken and don't feel pregnant! Just tummy feeling very soft and not a bump as such. Someone said to me Where's your bump gone?? That didn't help. Then other days, it's defo there and very obvious! I hope that's normal!!

Gen, good luck with DTD, fingers crossed for next week or so.

Phillipa, hope the weekend isn't too awkward watching the drinkers.

Cowgirl, will keep everything crossed for next Friday. I do think the six week scan is very stressful, and often a HB isn't seen. Maybe seven weeks would be the better time to start scanning.

Louise, well done for finishing your injections. I was very nervous to start with! I felt that's it, it's all down to me now! However as the days tick by, my confidence grew. Your body is ready to support your little bubs now, and it will do a fab job.

Sorry if I've forgotten anyone, but thinking of you all.xxx

Choccywoccydodah · 20/06/2015 09:36

Indie how far are you now?
I'm 22 weeks today and only the last couple of weeks has bump started to become hard low down as such so please try not to worry!! I know it's really really hard not to, but you'll be bigger some days than others. Can you lie down on your back and feel where you uterus is?

Just off to see the consultant at 10 to see if I can be diacharged eek!

Joy2713 · 20/06/2015 09:39

Hi Ladies,
Havent posted in a while but hope your all doing well? Louise have you had your 12 week scan yet?
Indie my bump done that with my ds, although i remember panicking at the time!
Got my 12 weeks scan on weds for the twins and the worry and anxiety is just horrid! Have told a few people im pregnant now as bump is fairly obvious!

Hope everyone else is doing well xx

philippa88 · 20/06/2015 09:58

Morning ladies - lots to catch up on!
Cowgirl I'm sure your next scan will be different and you'll see that little heartbeat flicker!
Indie, my sisters pregnant and her bump often looks smaller but then huge again the next day! I don't blame you for worrying, I would be the same! How insensitive for someone to ask where you bump has gone :/
Joy everything will be fine and those little 2 will be thriving :)
As for the beer festival and oh on the stag do, it's all been cancelled. I had a call yday morning to say my grandma had passed away, we went to her flat and with courage I managed to go in and see her body, first deceased person I've ever seen. I was in bits yday as it was so sudden and not expected, but the only solace is that she died in her sleep :( My oh had been great and refused to leave me to go on the stag do. Was crying most of yday which my mam was trying to stop as she said I need to think of the baby and not get too worked up - easier said than done x

Marchgirl · 20/06/2015 10:47

So sorry to hear about your grandma philippa. Glad your oh stayed home with you x

LouiseM1987 · 20/06/2015 10:56

Thanks indie.
Joy I had my 12 week trial scan on Wednesday everything seemed ok but it was 2 days behind where it should be but they said it was probably curled up and it wouldn't have a profile shot.
Got my official scan on Thursday as I'm in newquay so had to change it as was booked when I was away.
Philippa I'm so sorry about your grandma, it's lovely your oh has stayed at home with you too. Xxx

Kazz2112 · 20/06/2015 12:13

Phillipa im so sorry to hear about your grandma.
Make sure you look after yourself and your little bean as that will have been so important to her. It's heartbreaking but I often think that's the kindest way to go. My Gran suffered in hospital for weeks and my memory of the last time I saw her isn't a nice memory to remember her. I'm welling up for you as I type as it's so much for you to deal with at an already emotionally wraught time. X

Indiedog · 20/06/2015 20:07

Ah Philippa, that's rubbish. So sorry for you and your family. I'm glad your other half has taken the weekend off to be with you. It is a big thing to lose someone, let alone see them. I couldn't bare to see my mum when she had passed. I just wanted to remember her as she was, but mum was very poorly.
Don't try and keep it in, as that's tough, just remember you've got a little bean to look after too, so take some time out to chill and switch off.

Choccy, I am just over 16weeks now. So happy to be at this point, and so glad I've booked a scan for next weekend. I really need to know all is well in there. I couldn't wait till 20 weeks, that would be rubbish.
I'm sure it is normal for bump to move about, especially when relaxed etc. It's just things that cross your mind.

Can I ask a really really personal question to those who are pregnant? Blush Please don't feel you have to answer!!!!! Here goes.... Have you still been doing the deed!!!!!!? My poor husband hasn't had IT, since we conceived!!! How bad is that, but I'm so worried about it!! He knows I am, and understands! He has his fun in other ways Blush but not IT!!!
I will just run and hide as you read this WinkBlush

Kazz2112 · 21/06/2015 00:37

Hi indie. I'm not currently pregnant but from previous pregnancies I can relate to what you mean as from the point of getting a bfp I was so scared that dtd would potentially 'dislodge' the baby! I know it's ridiculous but i can't help worrying!

Currentlu awaiting my smiley so trying to follow the SMEP - although I've not told DH that that is what we're doing!!!

Kazz2112 · 21/06/2015 09:10

Here we go again! Well... after the gym! Then I can stay horizontal or do a head stand for an hour or so to help them on their way!

philippa88 · 21/06/2015 09:15

Woohoo kaz! Get that fella in bed!

Thanks for your comments ladies, it's been a funny few days as it doesn't seem real somehow. It's like I dreamt Friday happened. In that limbo stage now when we have to wait for the funeral :(

Indie I'm with you... We've not DTD since around ovulation! I was told by the fertility centre after my 3rd loss to avoid sex for the first 12 weeks when pregnant. Oh how I miss it though! As it happens though, my oh has been out of action lately anyway (as you know about separately!) so it's not been too bad.

Not sure if I'm imagining things but I keep getting a vibration feeling in my uterus area... What could this be?? It's like fizzing or something??
X

Genwah85 · 21/06/2015 10:06

Well today was day 5 of a smiley is that normal to get so many? We are dtd just to be safe well not today as I've just boarded a plane to new York then on to vegas but sure we can do some catching up while we are there! Incase I can't get on until I'm back good luck to everyone with scans tests and smileys xxxx

Choccywoccydodah · 21/06/2015 10:35

Philippa so sorry to hear about your grandma :( heartbreaking for you. I hope lots of family and friends are around you.
Dh still has his 2 nans (both 94) and one grandad (91) alive, and we are all dreading the 'day' tbh. They all still are very active but his nan who doesn't have grandad about had a pacemaker put in nearly 10 years ago of which is only meant to last 10 years and she won't have it replaced. Also her arteries are starting to clog up, her eyesight has become really bad etc. she's SO headstrong and independent and knows what she wants so everyone has basically been told to not talk her into anything etc. it's awful as we're all just waiting for something to happen!

Indie glad you have your scan next week to help :) Are you feeling much movement at all?

Gen can't help with all the smileys I'm afraid! I just thought you're meant to go with the first one :/

All good here. Was discharged from the consultant yesterday and been authorised for a home birth YEEEEHAAA!!! Prob change my mind nearer the time lol, but I have a also been authorised to used a low intervention part of the hospital (Lucina for those at UHCW) which you can't use if under consultant.
So bloody happy!!!!

At friends last night and didn't get to bed til after 3am!! I fell asleep in the sofa for an hour about 12, I couldn't fight it anymore and my eyes were stinging! Then I woke up again til we went to bed.
Have a day off today as ds at my parents so we're going out with them today too :) (we don't really do fathers/mothers days etc) x

Kazz2112 · 21/06/2015 10:50

Wow Genwah. 5 days? Ive only ever had a day and a half. I'll monitor mine and let you know! Have an amazing tome in New York and Vegas!

Phillipa did the fertility clinic e plain why you shpuld avoid it for the first 12weeks at all? Won't break this to DH till next week! ;)

I'm so relieved to have my smiley. I'm on my sisters hen do next weekend and DH is off to Germany so I'd kind of written off this month. Hopefully can give it a good shot now. We've dtd Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and will go for every day from now! Currently lying on my right hand side because that's the dude the ovulation pain is. Tip the little swimmers in the right direction! In the words of Tesco... every little helps!

BTW... when people have been successful around smiley time do you dtd once a day or more than once a day. We did twice a day last cycle and no luck. Sorry if tmi!

Choccywoccydodah · 21/06/2015 13:09

Kaz we just did once per day day before my usual positive, day of and day after. But we regularly dtd every other day normally anyway before that. If you dtd too much it can have a negative effect.

Forgot to mention earlier about the having sex thing.
When I was pregnant with DS my sex drive was massive and obviously no problems, bit naive to miscarriage eye so carried on as normal. Even managed to dtd from 12 days after his birth Blush
This time i was petrified until about 10 weeks, but still dtd at least once a week.
My sex drive properly returned about 17 weeks so we're back to around every other day now :)
