Good luck Girlie.xxx

girliesaints · 29/05/2015 11:54

As expected I've officially had a MC and off to theatre in next few hours. Was fun whilst it last fun but hey ho wasn't meant to be this time.

Response trial nurses have been blooming lovely today making sure follow up is already booked. That alone had been worth doing the trial x

Kazz2112 · 29/05/2015 12:13

So sorry to hear that. Hope you're well looked after and that you recover quickly.xc

sizethree · 29/05/2015 13:30

Oh girlie I'm heartbroken with you. It's shitter that shit. You e been through more than enough already. Sending you super strength to get through this too.
I know people always spurt out platitudes at awful times like this which seem of little comfort, but one that resonates with me at my lowest moments was always:
'everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not yet the end.'
Massive hugs and always here when you need us.

Choccywoccydodah · 29/05/2015 13:40

No words girlie. I'm devastated for you :( I hope all goes as well as can be. Totally and utterly gutted for you.
We're all here if you need us xx

Kazz2112 · 29/05/2015 14:31

That's a lovely saying Size and so true.xxxx

Indiedog · 29/05/2015 15:32

Oh girlie, so sorry to see its not worked out this time. I am glad you are being looked after, and things are moving along. I guess that is the only consolation of being in the trial, is the extra care.
I wish you a speedy recovery, and that you and your partner etc are ok.
I had been thinking of you all the way home too.
I hope once you've recovered, physically and mentally (not that we forget) that the hospital can give you some more options, or tests and support.

We are all here to offer support, to let each other let off steam, and we are all here for you. ThanksThanks

Big hugs xxx

girliesaints · 29/05/2015 15:34

Thanks ladies. Back from surgery and currently munching on toast.

I forgot to say earlier apparently they are stopping recruiting for the trial in June as the uptake as been so popular. I certainly feel honoured to have taken part.

If it's ok, I would like to stick around on the thread to see what happens with everyone.

girliesaints · 29/05/2015 15:36

Thanks Indie, I'm seeing the recurrent miscarriage research nurse next week to discuss options. Apparently another bonus of the trial means I don't have to go through the normal wait times and she'll be able to fast track appointments for me.

Going to be sad to leave A & J. A even emailed me today to let me know she was thinking of me and she's on holiday. Bless.

Indiedog · 29/05/2015 15:40

Hello girlie. NHS toast, I hope it's good xxx

Glad your ok.
Do you get to see A or J again at some point. Maybe they know or have connections with any other trials that may be in the future.
Too early to think about maybe, but something to keep in mind perhaps.

I hope your home soon, can't beat home comforts.
Of course stick around, we want to know your ok too don't forget xx

Indiedog · 29/05/2015 15:41

Crossed threads with you girlie.

Glad your be in the system now. I can't beleive how long they left me after my fourth MC.

Make sure you stay on their case.
There will be something out there for you, and it will happen.
Xx

girliesaints · 29/05/2015 15:43

NHS toast is the best.

Have to see A & J in a month's time to follow up after finishing the drugs, which will be great.

There are some other trials ongoing that the miscarriage research nurse is going to run through but sadly not with J & A.

Size, meant to say loved your saying. I firmly believe this is part of my journey to get to dream.

Choccywoccydodah · 29/05/2015 16:12

Girlie glad all went as well as could be. Nhs toast is fab (the only food they seem to get right!!)
I'm glad you now get fast tracked to the next stage, that's at least something you haven't got to worry about.

I was told they were stopping recruiting in June a few weeks ago too, but those ladies only had 3 months to catch as they want to bring the trial to a close, talk about pressure!

Joy2713 · 29/05/2015 17:09

Glad it went ok as could be and hopefully you'll be on your way home soon! Xxx

Kazz2112 · 29/05/2015 18:37

What is it with NHS toast??? Its amazing. My DH is nodding in agreement.

Get lots of rest now girlie. Glad to hear it sounds like you're being looked After. You will get your happy ending. Our roads are all just a little more windy than some.xxc

SushieS · 29/05/2015 19:34

Really sad to hear that girlie...thinking of you and sending hugs. Hope there's some consolation in the fact that you've potentially helped millions of women in the future...without everyone being involved taking a leap of faith and trialling new drugs advancements in MC treatment wouldn't be possible. Really hope you get extra special treatment and investigation and next time it's a different outcome. I know from your words, and others on the thread, it's made me want to be part of it all.xxx

philippa88 · 29/05/2015 20:24

So sorry girlie, honestly my heart goes out to you :( I know it's hard but you have to keep fighting, one day this will work and you'll finally get that rainbow baby. Hugs xxx

girliesaints · 29/05/2015 20:40

Bless you lovely ladies!

Back home now and installed on the sofa and have been looked after by doc mcstuffin aka dd!

NHS toast was soo amazing I asked if I could have another round and got refused- how rude!

Enough of me. No pressure ladies but need happy news over next few weeks in terms of scans & bfp! ??

Choccywoccydodah · 30/05/2015 17:07

How've you been today girlie? Xx

Kazz2112 · 30/05/2015 17:58

Hope you are feeling as ok as can be and recovering well Girlie.

I think that's so unfair that you were only allowed on round of toast!!! :( Very mean!

I start with the pg tests tomorrow morning so hoping for some positive news to share as requested! I'm feeling very apprehensive about it at the moment. How early did everyone else get there bfps? I'm currently cd22, will be cd23 tomorrow (obviously) and got my smiley on cd16.

I'm really worried we messed up with the ttc. Went for it x2 on the smiley day and x2 the day after (where i had a smiley in the morning but not evening) and then once the day after the smileys but then DH was too hungover the following day! :( Ill be so gutted if i dont get a bfp. I suspect my next smiley is going to fall when im away on my sisters hen do and DH is off to Germany with a mate. Short of a pot and a turkey baster next cycle would be unlikely!

Choccywoccydodah · 30/05/2015 18:09

Good luck testing kazz!! Everything crossed for some positive news.
I always got my bfps early (5/6/7dpo) so I'm not a good example to answer lol! This one was 6dpo from my dating scan date, 5dpo from when I thought I ovulated, 3 days past cb smiley (which I always thought was wrong!) x
