AF or spotting?

Had IVF 3 weeks ago - am in Budapest where you have a 3 week wait - no test just an ultrasound. Was feeling v hopefull as no AF although "due" middle of last week. Started bleeding yesterday but not like a normal period. Not heavy and bright red.

Having scan tomorrow anyway but wondering if it is period or spotting.

I know it's teh middle of the night but I can't sleep.

Is there no way you could do a pregnancy test? Or does your post mean they are unavailable? If using after AF due you should get a positive result if you are indeed pregnant and would take away some of that not knowing. For me with DS, implanatation bleed was the tiniest spot of blood in my knickers. Different for others though I know.

Sorry - went back to bed.

Was told not to do HPT as was given HCG injections which would show a positive result anyway.

Def AF now I think - much heavier.

Oh well - maybe next time.

Sorry but sounds like AF. Spotting for me was a bit of brown streaking in CM. Horrible to have your hopes raised like that though. Lots of sympathy.
