Hi,

NC'd for this.

I wondered if anyone else out there has a partner who has had undescended testicles?

We have been struggling to conceive so far, and have decided that we are going to head to the doctors in a couple of weeks time.

DH has had surgery on his testicles after they were undescended, and he is worried that this is why it's taking us a while.

I really think it's an issue more on my part; if we have sex when I suspect I am ovulating then it is really painful.

Just looking for good news stories about those who have been in similar circircumstances please.

I am getting to the point where I cry more often than I would like to admit over silly baby relates things and I just need something positive to focus on.

Hi no experience of this but hope you get support from the Drs, I know how you feel about the crying over baby stuff!

It depends on the age at which he had the surgery done - if it was as a baby then it's much less likely to have had an effect than if he was older. However, it's not helpful for either of you to get into a "blame game" and it will only stress you out more.

You don't mention how long you've been trying? Most GPs won't investigate until you've been trying at least a year. You can still talk to them about your concerns though.
