Just been for a blood test. I'm hoping for good news and trying to prepare my self for bad. I usually comfort eat but everything tastes funny and I'm not very hungry. Anyone tested negative on frer after 2 weeks late and got positive bloods. I'm kind of thinking it is unlikely but the fact my bra has now started irritating my boobs is not helping me take my mind off it. Also had a mild headache and worried about taking anything. Hmm

nightandthelight · 07/05/2015 14:38

Fx for you zippy!

How did your scan go Sammy?

fx for you zippy

Carltonlives · 07/05/2015 15:58

Fx for you zippy! How long do you have to wait for the results?

ZippyBoo · 07/05/2015 16:22

Thanks girls. It will probably be Monday but I'll try ringing the surgery tomorrow. Just in case.

Carltonlives · 07/05/2015 16:26

Get loads of plans and things to do in your diary over the weekend and try and distract yourself til Monday zippy, the time will go faster that way Smile

DizzyMerry · 07/05/2015 16:33

Keeping my fx for you Zippy. As Carlton says keep yourself busy over the weekend as focusing on other things will hopefully keep you distracted.

Hi everyone, I've missed so much and there are so many new people who's stories I don't know, I'm really sorry I've not been better at keeping up.

Night, sorry af arrived Hmm
Also thank you for asking about the HyCoSy, it wasn't awful, but was the worst period type pain I've ever felt and I'm spotting now. Plus my blood pressure dropped hugely about 5 minutes after they finished and I thought I was going to pass out - which was really annoying as consultant was telling me really interesting things about embryoscopes and I never got to hear the end. They did give me a biscuit though.
Anyway apparently my tubes are fine and my ovaries are lovely! Lol. And I'm definitely going to ov from the right this month. He said I was text book. Which is great, but it puts us in the unexplained category.
Good news though is he confirmed nhs entitlement is 2 fresh plus 2 frozen rounds of IVF AND we can have one private go while waiting and not lose the nhs tries!!
So now I just have to have the nhs appointment and decide with dh what the next steps are.
Consultant said sometimes people conceive right away after the HyCoSy but that as the dye went in so easily anyway it probably would make a difference to us as it's unlikely there were any blockages Xx

wishiwaspregnant · 07/05/2015 17:22

brooke I had EWCM for 3dpo and have heard it's nothing to worry about. I'm temping and my chart shows clearly that I ov'd on cd15 with EWCM the next 2/3 days after that. So maybe some of us just produce it in excess? You can see my chart if you look back through the threads on this bus. lucie sorry to hear about your experience. Don't give up! We are all here for you Flowers

Brooke113 · 07/05/2015 17:29

wishiwaspregnant you've really put me at ease :) I thought it was just me, that's so good to know :)

I've purchased a thermometer after reading all the fab info on here, so hopefully next cycle I can be more in tune, so am I right in thinking your temperature should be stable. And then rise after ovulation, and then should continue to be that temperature until Af?

nightandthelight · 07/05/2015 17:49

Sounds pretty good news Sammy especially about not losing your NHS goes, and more goes than you thought! :) sorry to hear how painful it was though :(

OP posts:
loopylou1984 · 07/05/2015 18:01

It was only about 30 seconds of pain, but it was intense.
I know, I couldn't believe my ears, so pleased. I think we will probably end up doing 1 private round but need to talk to dh properly. Xx

CarrotVan · 07/05/2015 18:08

Yay for lovely ovaries, sammy

nightandthelight · 07/05/2015 18:10

Eek fx for your 2016 baby Sammy Grin

loopylou1984 · 07/05/2015 18:26

Thanks carrot! It seemed such a strange thing to compliment, what do you say to that? 'Why thank you, I grew them myself!'

Night - Eeek! I really really hope so! Xx

DizzyMerry · 07/05/2015 18:32

Sammy pleased that you're appointment went well and you have lovely ovaries! I have heard about women getting pregnant after the test so fx. Either way you are so much closer to your bfp. What's the plan now? Will you wait for the NHS appt or go private now?

Brooke your temp should be lower during your period and up until ov. After ov you should see a rise and your temp should remain higher until AF begins. It will remain high if you're pregnant. Have a look at the Fertility Friend website and you will see lots of charts on there so that will give you an idea.

birchygoo · 07/05/2015 18:32

Sammy that's great it all went so well. I've just started this route and I'm hoping if everything is ok it will allow me to relax and just enjoy getting p. hopefully its the same for you and you get a bfp next cycle!

wishiwaspregnant · 07/05/2015 18:34

brooke check it out online. If you google bbt chart on google image you will get a good idea of what happens. Basically from my little knowledge I understand that your temp has a sudden dip on day of OV followed the next day by a sharp rise. This is from the progesterone. This rise of temp should be sustained until AF arrives then it will drop and remain low until you OV again. If you were to be pregnant it stays high. So if you crack the temping you will also save money on pregnancy tests as the temp drop will tell you AF is coming. However who am I kidding! I just got heaps from the pound shop today! Oops!!!

loopylou1984 · 07/05/2015 18:38

Birchy - you never know. I would be amazed if that happened now after all these months, but I do feel more relaxed just by knowing I have options so we'll see!

DizzyM - I think we will go for one private round, but I need to talk to dh properly first. Xx

parsnipbob · 07/05/2015 19:52

How is everyone today? Just catching up. Anyone testing soon. I'm in the TWW now. Hate this part :(

pulpi · 07/05/2015 20:07

Hey parsnip, I'm holding off testing for another 2 days when I'll be 11dpo. Boobs are sore, but not more than normal for PMS.

But I have good, non-baby news: DH got his promotion! Here's hoping things come in threes, and the other two are 1) me getting an interview/new job and 2) a BFP!

How're you doing, parsnip?

nightandthelight · 07/05/2015 20:09

Today is a good day for promotions pulpi, my DH got one too :) congrats to Mr Pulpi!

Mumof1sofar · 07/05/2015 20:12

Pulpi congrats to your dh & good luck for testing! Have you had many symptoms?

parsnipbob · 07/05/2015 20:14

Pulpi all fine thanks, settling down to watch the election coverage :) hope you are ok?
