Night it actually doesn't shock me anymore the amount of times I've experienced a bad bedside manner! I just think - why be in that job if you are going to treat people that way?! So re fertility- do you have private clinics near you? I would just google for private hospitals nearby and see which ones offer fertility then have a read on their website through consultants and decide. I think you can prob expect to be around £150 for the consultation but it may be totally worth it if you can afford to.

night I doubt any GP would listen to you until you'd been trying a lot longer but you could probably see a private consultant. Do you have a bupa or spire hospital where you live? Do you have a spare couple of 100£?

Hi everyone, so oh has major tummy ache and I am wondering if that is why I felt sick and dizzy over the weekend, spotting has ramped up a gear now and I constantly feel that my insides are following out, I have a pain in my hip since Friday and ovia sees that being a sign of pregnancy , everything is raising my hopes and then dashing them ,

Don't worry chops am fully aware that GP would send me away with a flea in my ear! Thanks for the advice (and also Sparkly). Money wise would be a pinch but depending on cost could be possible. Have emailed local private hospital and Spire to see if they offer fertility appts :)

Bit more research shows that chances of conceiving with a short follicular phase is about half that of a normal one. Sorry will shut up now!

So.. I called Trunchbull today, clearly her holiday has rejuvenated her, she seems like a different person (again..) she was really kind and understanding and has offered to scan me this Friday instead of waiting for two weeks!! She also said she was sorry for the epu and the way they were with me.she asked why they hadn't done hcg levels too. So I'm feeling positive again Yoyo and I'm going for scan on Friday!Smile

Getting pissed off now, been awake for 3 hours and still no doctor has come to see me to say what actually happened and if it all went ok! Maybe I need to start crying to get attention

Sparkly so happy that they are going to scan you again friday!!! What great news - just don't panic if they can't see the heartbeat yet as you have another scan booked in for that lovely. Positive thoughts!

Pug sorry no one has been along to see you yet - how rubbish! Have you asked what time the consultants are doing their post op rounds?

Pug first of all- thank goodness for hospital wifi! Us Bumsnetters need to know how you are! Second- that's really really rubbish but I've heard this before.. It's not on! Have you asked a nurse on your ward? I think you def should..!! They should know you are emotional and need details. Sending Flowers

Mummy yep I know chances aren't high of seeing anything but she says possible to see a fetal pole and it may help me to go in and see them anyway. She did say something interesting though- I asked if all these scans were ok and no risks involved for doing so many.. She said that as there's a little heat involved with dildocam you have to be careful not to do too many and that's why some clinics don't like to do weekly scans especially for those with re current miscarriage. So that's kinda made me think twice about too many! I think she is going to take over care now again and forget about epu so I don't think that other scan will still be in the diary.
