Thanks Sammy - I appreciate your guidance. That would be mean that I have a short LP - because my cycles are only usually around 26 days. It's rare I have a longer one. I will keep temping and see what happens. It's my own fault for missing those days!

Perhaps this month is a late ov for you? It might usually be earlier. See if your cycle is longer this month. Xx

Sammy did you ever have a lap and dye to examine your reproductive organs? I reckon ivf will sort you out but it's a blooming long road with the nhs in terms of success on these first and second cycle. They treat the first cycle as a dummy run to see how the body responds to stims. Very frustrating for the woman who has high hopes for the first round.

Either sperm isn't meeting egg or your womb is inhospitable or his sperm is shit or their are immune issue's. Perhaps your dh has high DNA fragmentation of sperm (>32% will greatly affect conception chances). All of this can be dealt with and you will be so much closer to the prize when you begin ivf. Try sex rod next month in the run up to ov and continue for two days after.

Had a significant dip this morning although not below coverline. AF not due till at least Tuesday do hoping it is not heralding that!

Purdie - Is the lap and dye the same as the HyCoSy? Or something different?

All those other things you mention, do they test for those before IVF or would I have to pay privately? I am really worried that there is something else wrong that's not going to be picked up

Hi to everyone else, I know there has been so much going on and I only pop my head in now and again so it's difficult to keep up as you are such a chatty lot!

I was a bit silly this morning and dos my first test with a frer. I'm 5 days post transfer and so equivalent of 10dpo. I got a bfn . I know it's early but I have seen a lot of women get their bfps around now especially with 2 transferred so feeling a little disheartened to be honest. Will try and leave it a couple of days and test again. I'm just not sure I have a good feeling about it now though.

Tis twerly Lucie! Please don't be disheartened. Test again in a few days :) every woman is different and just because others got bfps at 10dpo doesn't mean it's over for you! Fx lovely

Sorry for the temp dip sammy it hurts with each passing cycle and more so as it's not something we can control. We have to keep believing and keep going. It will happen. I can't to see the bfp's on here.

Woke up at 2 in the morning with period type cramps and headache thinking I'd have full flow this morning , I think she is on her way still have brown spotting when I wipe but I had red when I wiped first thing this morning after I went to the toilet sorry for tmi, had a bit of a sob in the car, she is being a cow this month tormenting me, I have back ache only at the moment so not to sure what she is playing at

Lucie, Nancy only revealed herself at 7dp5dt. No way would she have popped up at 5dp. You really were daft for testing this morning. I beg you not to test tomorrow either. You will be crushed beyond belief to get another bfn. If you don't even have a squinter by 7dp5dt I would agree it has not worked. Hold on tight love.

Sammy, a laparoscopy is the camera that goes through the belly but to and allows them to examine your ovaries and tubes up close. I guess if you've had dye through your tubes you know they're clear. Your dh's sperm is fine too right?

Hi Purdie - the HyCoSy is the one I need to book but the wait is 3 months... Still wondering if it's worth paying for - seems like a lot of money to throw away if it shows nothing.

Dhs results were all fab except the morphology which was 3% in the first and 5% in the repeat. The consultant said we don't need to retest, I did ask. What do you think? Xx

Thanks purdie I needed you to tell me how daft I am I really hope there is still hope for me. I'm going to try my best not to test tomorrow. I'm not very patient and just thought if I could be put out of my misery a little earlier then that would be great but obviously doesn't work that way. Just I had seen so many women on google and the fb group I am on have their bfp's at 10dpo thought it might happen for me too. This is really hard now!

Sammy your DHs results sound fine. There is always some variation between samples but as his last one was 5% and they only look for 4% then they wouldn't retest. You should be pleased its a good result
