Morrisons Test; false positives?

hi guys,

I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo! Lines came up about 2mins (did 2 as couldn't believe it) and not super faint but not dark either. Now I'm worrying because they're cheap tests: are they known for giving false positives? I've attached pic.

I don't feel any different, just hungry. It was a triphasic BBT that made me test.

I would say congratulations! I thing false positives in general are rare.

2 test showing faint lines - would say it's deffo ate that you're pregnant (can't see pic as in app).

My tests for all 3 were very faint, it depends on individual hormone levels.

Congratulations

WindMeUpAndLetMeGo · 24/04/2015 11:50

Bloody auto correct! Definite not defo ate!

Grantaire · 24/04/2015 11:54

You are pregnant. The cost of the test (2 for £1 at home bargains or £13.99 for a CB Rip Off) is irrelevant. They pick up hcg and for them to show positive, it's almost certainly because you're pregnant. False positives are very rare.

The triphasic BBT alone is a very good sign. The tests just confirm it. Congratulations.

Thanks guys. It was a usual case of googling & only reading the posts I'm looking for so of course I found an old MN post from a girl who said her & her pal got false positives.

Going to wait until Tuesday for a digi!

I bet you could find somebody on google claiming they were impregnated by a llama... Seriously, pregnancy tests are all pretty accurate. My best bit of advice to you for a continued happy and healthy pregnancy is never, ever google. Grin

Don't get a dig, get a FRER!

Grantaire · 24/04/2015 17:13

You don't need to get anything. Those lines are completely clear. You are pregnant.

MaelstromOfLunacy · 24/04/2015 17:16

They are WAY darker than my tests - congratulations!

avocadotoast · 24/04/2015 17:20

I used a test from Morrisons after realising the first test I'd used was out of date! It was definitely an accurate positive.

Congrats!
