Hi,

Me and my partner have only been ttc for a month now but im not sure if some of these things are just in my head for wishful thinking!

All though we dtd four days before my period was due as i had what seemed to be EWCM..sorry for the tmi

After my period was done we have been trying since again but for the past almost three weeks ive had ridiculously high symptoms of heartburn mostly, nausea, mood swings and back pains.
This monday just gone, 2 weeks before my next period is due i had a slight brown discharge.
I was calculated to ovulate from 12-14th but literally nothing.

Im so confused and stressed out that i even tried a test yesterday and got a BFN to no surprise as it would surely be soon to tell as AF is only due now on the 27th

Any help or advice or anything id greatly appreciate as my anxiety is so bad right now

Is this right:

Sex with some symptoms of ovulation, apparently very late in your cycle

Sex + 4 days = AF arrived

End of AF = more sex (dates not specified)

12-14th April = expected ovulation (so fertile period expected to be 9-15th ish)

16th = brown discharge

AF due 27th?

The brown discharge could be ovulation related. You can get ovulation spotting and you might be ovulating a couple of days late. Assuming your last period was normal then it would be surprising to be pregnant from the sex prior to your last period.

Whilst it's very difficult it's really a waiting game to see if you test positive at the end of the month (I'll be testing at the same time as you). You might want to get some more sex in today if you are ovulating. Just in case...

I get nausea and twinges for ovulation (sometime it's bloody painful), and spotting is not unusual.

Keep an eye on things and if in doubt talk to your GP

unfortunately, having recently moved to Finland with my partner I don't yet have a GP and only just today completely registered! will hop to it if anything changes though
