Right girls. For the love of god, I need you all to keep me sane for the next ten days!

Trunchbull was not at her finest today, rushing and quite hard faced I thought. Joy.
I took my extra dark bestest yet positive test with me. She did one of NHS ones, told me there was a line but not strong -after 30seconds?! Then said let's scan.. As I changed to scan it was clear the test was getting much darker and she hadn't given it long enough.
Dildocam number three for the week and she said my lining was still thick and intact what the actual ? she then made me lift my bum with my hands to tilt and said she could Possibly see a small yolk sac but she couldn't be sure. It was too early. She said that this thing she saw was high up in the uterine cavity, I asked if that was an issue if it was a yolk sac, she said just need to be careful it's not too close to the right tube..

She then took my bloods correction-she prodded and prodded and couldn't get any so got a phlebotomist to come who had a lovely bedside manner and took it no probs and said she will get back to me with hcg today.

After today. I get no beta or scan until 10 days. My case is now passed to early pregnancy as she says she is treating it as an early pregnancy but it's a waiting game.

I asked:
If anything I could do in meantime to help preg continue ie progesterone etc- NO.
Hcg bloods every few days? NO they won't do that.
Have we ruled out ectopic? She can't say 100% no
what the heck is all the bleeding then? We don't know- no possibilities given
I thought this was the start of my cycle seen as bleeding is heavy at toilet every day? Well it may still be. maybe the lining is going to come away now

Beyond confused, hopeful, scared. I don't feel pregnant -have no symptoms! Is it possible my hcg will come back lower?

I wanted to update you all properly. Sorry for harping on about pregnancy related things. I know all of you are desperate for that line, it's just we really don't know now so I need to stay here if that's ok!!

No, we were both a bit disheartened by the other house falling through, so gave ourselves a few days to get over it. We are going to start looking again this weekend.

Sparkly, firstly this is the place to voice your concerns. We are all worried and want to share your journey and support you.
Goodness it sounds quite positive! I guess a lot hangs on the blood results so I'm keeping everything crossed for you there.
You would think if the blood tests are good there would be something they could give you to try and keep bean where it should be. So more waiting for you, that's definitely the worst bit but we're all here for you.

For god’s sake Sparkly that bloody woman is driving me insane now – she is the most unhelpful person ever!! Can you please request to have someone else take over your case? It just seems she is happy to do the bare minimum and then send you away. It’s just so poor!!

So what are the next steps? You just have to wait 10 days and then see from further blood tests? -

Sparkly that does sound positive. I know you must be horribly scared but your lining is intact so that's a good thing. Really hope it all goes well for you. As for trunchbull nobody should have to endure that. She clearly knows nothing about all this and if she can't provide any answers you should have seen by someone who can. I hope it's all good news for you

Thank you all so much for your support. I sometimes feel I've bombarded this thread the past few days!!! I don't know what im expecting from the hcg result. Double? Could it be less than Mondays? Who knows. I guess it will be a few hours yet.

Spinning yes I thought they could give me something or at least check my progesterone to see if it's ok but She said there was nothing that we can do but wait.

Thanks Mummy she said ten days from now for scan and then said it would prob be a week on Friday so it would be before the weekend.. So clearly she thinks today is Wednesday. So technically next week.. A week Tomor? I think? Because she then said "oh cause I'm away next week so I can't do it so I'll pass you to epu to my colleagues" maybe that's why she's uptight today because she's away off on hol on Monday. She's thinking its Wednesday in her head.. It's Thursday silly woman!
Dh said to her "enjoy your holiday" when we talked out.. I rolled my eyes
I honestly think she also secretly isn't happy because I tested a bit early and so she can't give me real answers!

You are still pregnant Sparkly! Appreciate that next 10 days will be tough but try to focus on that :)
