Question about ovulation

Hi ladies. I'm not ttc but i thought you all might be able to help so sorry in advance if I offend anyone by being here.

I wanted to know if your period is always 14 days after ovulation?

My last 2 cycles were 28 days so I expected my period to arrive on 4/4/15 but it didn't. Then I remembered I'd noticed signs of ovulation on 26/03/15 so waited two weeks from then, but still no period on 9/4/15

I've done two pregnancy tests, both negative. No idea what's going on! I did these on 10/4/14 & 13/04/15

Do any of you have any idea or come across this before? Should I be worried?

Everyone's luteal phase is different anywhere from 10-18 days is totally normal, so you may not even be late yet.

Did you temp or use opks to confirm ovulation? If not you could be out a few days. Sometimes ovulation comes a few days after you notice signs of it approaching. As frustrating as it is try and wait a week before testing again and see where you are.

I don't temp or use opks I just sort recognised that i was ovulating by the pain and discharge change.

I will wait until the weekend to test again just in case. It's very bizarre

Do you know what tests are best? I used pink ones that I brought off eBay would they pick up early pregnancy?

Are those the cheap little strips? Because they are notoriously rubbish. Some women have no issue with them, others get false positives and some don't get positives no matter what.

I would try super drugs own brand. They're cheap and very good. Avoid clear blue tests though as they aren't very sensitive.

They're the pink ones not like the thin strips. Maybe I'll just go to super drug today just incase

Im very much in the same boat. Ovulated last week (6/04/15). I get endo flares up when I ovulate and the usual ewcm (sorry) so know I ovulated last monday.
Woke up yesterday with my usual, painful AF cramps, really bloated and then bled dark brown blood most of yesterday. Today, no bleeding, but the cramping is still evident.. :(
I was always under the impression you start AF 2 weeks after ovulating and not before??
