Oh my god, can't believe this party is tomorrow! I'm really nervous! I think she might think something is going on but nothing like what's planned.

I'm quite annoyed though as DM's husbands family don't like dm and dm doesn't like them, so her husband has invited them all Hmm and he has told her that his mom and dad are taking her out for her birthday so that was what made her think something was going on as they would NEVER do anything like that.

Going to finalise everything later and sort out finishing touches (decorations etc) Grin

Ducky, he is usually awake until 9-9.30pm- shouting and playing. Then he has his last feed - biggest bottle- and sleeps in his cot in his own room. Door is shut and black- out blind.Baby monitor on.

DH and I have been out tonight. We went for an early dinner and a couple of drinks. Friend baby sat. DS was fast asleep when we got back about 9.30pm.
It is so hot here tonight! DH is wandering round in his pants in the garden with a mug of tea. Grin

Hope the party goes well Ducky. That is such a nice thing for you to have done.

We don't have an alarm Cupcake. About 3 times a year we realise we have gone to bed the previous night and left the garden door unlocked, or even worse, wide open. Have done it several times and gone to work.

LuluJakey1 · 05/06/2015 22:18

But I am more scared of zombies in the garden than burglars. Grin

Ducky23 · 05/06/2015 22:44

What time does he wake lulu? And (haha) I have a pic of your DH in my head strolling round the garden in his pants with his hand on his hip! you are quite right to be scared of zombies

We gave an alarm, we learnt the hard way Hmm two weeks after moving in we were broken into, we weren't unpacked properly so they just took loads of boxs of stuff and put cigarettes out on the dogs Sad my dog (who recently passed) got one a corker through! He must have bit them on the way out and there was big blobs of blood trailing out the house. Police told me that if they went to hosp because of that they would have my dog pts AngryAngryAngryHmm I went mad at them!

It is a fancy alarm though, there are sensors on all the doors, it tells you which doors are open where and if anyone comes in when the alarm is set it goes off. It even has a special dog sensor Grin if it goes off it rings me, h, dm and a friend in the area and speakers go on in the house so we can listen/speak to the burgers Grin

Sleeps through until half 7 -8am- most of the time.

That's a sophisticated alarm Ducky. I would be terrified of it.

DH is in the house now and has gone to bed. I am watching Graham Norton and eating chocolate!

Bearsinmotion · 06/06/2015 06:10

Hello everyone, just catching up on the thread! I can't believe how long some of these babies are feeding, it must be exhausting! DS is surprisingly good in that respect, he goes to sleep when DD does about 8, wakes about 1 for a feed and then again about 6. Then DD gets up about half six.

We have exciting news - the offer we made on a house has been accepted! We are now trying to figure out what else we need to do now to buy it (first time buyers!). It is very exciting and scary at the same time! We are also now on holiday for2 weeks in Scotland so trying to do it all remotely Confused

I'll bet Tori! MIL is here with us, it's her chance to get lots of cuddles with DS and play with DD and I get a lie in!

Ducky23 · 06/06/2015 08:55

That's great news bears! Grin How exciting!

Cupcake92 · 06/06/2015 08:58

Wow congrats Bears!!! :) that's great news! Enjoy ur holiday! :)

Ducky .... Wow.... That alarm is so cool! I want one! Shock

I'm away with my mom and family now! Got here last night about 7pm and the journey was hard! Took 3 and a half hours in total as was loads of traffic. DS was amazingly good! But I was in pain so much with my back and pelvis.
Going to Whitby today and having fish and chips by the sea for lunch :) can't wait! DS is having so much fun so far he absolutely loves it! He's gone to the shop with his nana to get his milk and his toast haha :)

Hope everyone is okay!

LuluJakey1 · 06/06/2015 09:11

Bears- that is really exciting about the house. It sounded lovely.

Nice for you and Tori to have a bit of help from MIL's this weekend. We all need little breaks and support. Even half an hour extra in bed feels like a treat.

We are going to walk along to the Saturday market in a local village station-it is about 4 miles along the sea front. Lots of nice junk. books, food, plants etc and some restaurants where we can have lunch. We can walk back as well if we have got the energy, or get the train if not.

DS is ready for the off and excited because he has his coat on!

Have a nice day everyone.

We are back- walked both ways. All 3 of us are having a lie down. DH and DS are in our room on the bed and I am downstairs on the sofa with the cats. Grin

Have a lovely time in Whitby Cupcake. I like Whitby- great fish and chips but banky! SandsEnd is nce too- have an 'auntie' lives there. They have a farm.
Nice cafes there.

LuluJakey1 · 06/06/2015 16:02

We had lunch at the italien restaurant we went to a few weeks ago. DS had some baby rice and then a plate with sliced green beans and some sliced ripe avocado. He loved it. Had some of DH's mashed potato too then some mushed up strawberries.

Ducky23 · 06/06/2015 17:30

Hope you have a nice time cupcake! Grin

ANd sounds like you had a nice day lulu!

Hopefully that will mean you will get better sleep tonight tori! Fingers crossed!

Ds just had fish and mushy peas for dinner.

I'm off to go get ready! I will go help with decorating/setting up, dm will get there at 8 and I will leave slightly after. Gutted I won't be able to stay longer to see the party I have been planning for months!

LuluJakey1 · 06/06/2015 18:40

Why aren't you staying for your mum's party Ducky? I hope it goes really well.

DH is having his friend round to watch the match. He's got beer and crisps! I have offered to make BLTs for them. I will be in the other room reading or watching tv on my ipad or mnetting. DS will be with me and then n bed. He is tired tonight. Just going to bath him.

Lillamyy1 · 07/06/2015 09:45

Sounds like everyone's having a nice wkend / holidays! We can't afford a proper holiday this year but in September we're going to stay in a big self-catering farmhouse in the Peak District with quite a few friends, just for a weekend.
We had a bit of a family gathering yesterday at my niece's house. She had a baby girl a couple of weeks before DS was born an this was the first time I've made it over to see her. My DM and DSis were there and DSis's other kids - she's got six, between the ages of 2 to 25 Shock Xmas is very expensive

Ducky23 · 07/06/2015 11:41

Because of ds lulu, he doesn't like loud noise and crowds.

I bet x mas is expensive lil Shock 6!!

It went great last night. I stayed for an hour and a half but it went on til 2 am! Dm had a great time Smile

Lillamyy1 · 07/06/2015 12:20

I've just found out DP has lost the photos he took when DS had just been born Sad I can't even remember his birth properly, and I can't remember seeing him for the first time because I was so drugged up - those photos were all I had Sad

Ducky23 · 07/06/2015 12:38

Oh no lil Hmm where we're they? Printed photos/phone/camera etc?

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 07/06/2015 13:55

Oh no Lil! How has he lost them?

Sounds like the party was a good one Ducky.

The bloody man next door is doing DIY and hammering on and drilling.mI am going to take DS for a walk.

DH has a hangover- he had 3 cans last night. I really don't know why he bothers. We had the usual palaver of him feeling all silly and sexy (singing a daft song called 'Cowboy Dreams' and getting soppy) and then falling asleep as soon as he got into bed. He woke with a headache and is grumpy. He has books to mark and wants to go to sleep. The noise next door is driving him mad. He has never been able to drink anything! Why doesn't he learn???? Grrr!
