When trying for DD, AF was rather regular and I got pregnant after only 5 months. Since having DD (16 months) AF has been all over the place. I thought we had DTD at the right time after signs of ovulation and when I was late I thought it had happened but all 4 tests I've done have been BFN, I'm now on day 35 of cycle and still no sign of AF showing up. Any ideas of how to get pregnant if you're AF is very irregular? :(

I'm super irregular ablnd worse than ever since having dd. Opks are the way to go! The cheapy ones do the trick abd it gives.you a 12-36 hour warning you're gonna ovulate.

When will I know when to test though? Or do you just do them throughout the cycle?

The cheap ones are 50 for £6 I tend to start using them once my period is over once a day. Then twice a day as line gets darker. Don't use fmu, use afternoon wee instead. They really save your sanity if you're irregular, though waiting for that first positive feels like forever.

Ah I see, I think that's the way to go then! Thanks for your replies, kinda helps having someone else to talk to who knows how frustrating it is. Just out of curiosity what's the longest time you're cycle has gone?

I think (tests still super faint) that I just conceived on cycle day 21. My last cycle was only 17 days so pretty irregular! We just had sex every other day I wasn't on my period to make sure we still had a chance no matter when I ovulated.

Meant to say I'm cd36 today, hence thinking I must have conceived two weeks ago if super light bfps now and none yesterday. Can't have been much after that as dp has been away since then.
