I would probably say that is positive. Do another one later in the day to check but might be worth DTD just in case!

The surge is very short lived. You'll probably ovulate in the next day or so.

Are those one step tests? I find the test line often had a thin line that's positive and the rest is negative. Unless the thin line is over half the width of the line I think it means its negative. But that looks positive to me. Is is it around your ovulation time?

Yes they're one step ones. It's really faded now- the line looks a lot lighter.

I think it's around my ovulation time (had a weird cycle which was 11 days longer last month so kinda feel all over the place at the moment). I'll dtd tonight (can't be arsed but I better put in the effort!) and keep testing in case there's another surge I guess.

I have a short luteal phase and don't think I can conceive without some help but going to keep trucking on till I get it!

I've never had a purple line with them (am ttc #3)- I think this might be it for me but think I'll take your advice cat.

Question, mine look like the one you posted SunbathingCat, so will that be O day? This is only our first month trying and we DTD as soon as I had my line that looked like yours, and the next day when my OPK looked like the OP's. I know everyone is different, I'm just hoping we got the timing right
