Hello ladies

Wonder if anyone can help me, ttc for 7 months now. My period that just past was a strange one! Very light compared to normal and also started getting my light cramps 5 days before it came, normally I'll get my first cramp and have to dash to the loo!

Anyway, since ovulation my cervix hasn't moved, it hasn't lowered. It stayed high after ovulation, before af, during af, and I'm now on CD 9 and it is STILL high!! It is hard, and I can’t tell if it is opened or closed.

I know this isn't the norm for me, I have been tracking my cp for 4/5 months now.

ALL tests are BFN. I’m baffled. Also I have a good few preg symptoms, and a lot of cm that hasn't disappeared since ovulation! HELP!!

xx

Hi Jane
I've read that checking your cervical position isn't a reliable way of working out whether you're pregnant. That being said, I checked mine this month and around the time af was due it was low and hard so I thought af was definitely coming. I'd had a teeny weeny bleed lasting less than an hour a few days before so I thought af was picking up before it left off. I had so many af cramps with no sign of af so I checked my cervical position again and this time it was quite high up and softer. I took a test a few days later and got my BFP.

I tend to always check my cervical position now and it's only ever low down after a bowl movement, I assume due to the pressure.

Anyway what I'm trying to say is that I assume your cervix being high up is a good sign judging from my experience. Perhaps take a test in a few days using fmu and hopefully you'll get your BFP. If not I'd say speak to your GP, he may be able to shed some light or even offer a blood test to detect pregnancy.

Good luck Flowers
