Halfway through my TWW and looking for company. Anyone in the same boat?

I've still got about a week to go before I can POAS. DH and I have been trying for about 5 months, but I have very irregular cycles so it's all really hard to judge. I usually go about 2 weeks between periods so following that, AF should be due to arrive before the end of this week. But I'm thinking that would be too early to test and am very impatient! I've also been taking agnus castus this month on the advice of a medical friend so I'm feeling tentatively hopeful. Anyone around who wants to wait it out with me and not read too much into every symptom and definitely not take a test every day this week?

So I made it through the weekend without testing and without the unwelcome appearance of AF. Only problem now is that the longer it goes, the more disappointed I'll be if it all goes wrong. LOVED the hammer to the stick story. Definitely the type of thing that would happen in my house!

I couldn't wait anymore and poas this morning. Photo of result attached. Totally in shock, I'd pretty much convinced myself it wouldn't happen without loads of doctors visits. This is probably a stupid question, but I've been so focussed on getting pregnant that I didn't think about what to do next. Do I make a midwife appointment now? Fingers crossed that you all get your BFPs now!!

ero congratulations!!! I'm so excited for you! Right, get on the phone to your doctor - you need an appointment with the midwives. Some places you can self refer, but it depends on your area. I'd also get an appointment with your doctor to keep them up to date. I'm assuming this is pg#1? My one bit of advice: choose a couple of people to tell (unless you don't want to keep it secret, which is great, I didn't) because these first months can be hard and you'll need support. Ah, so pleased! :)

Congratulations ero!! So pleased for you!! Bet you're in shock. How many dpo are you?
Yes ring the Dr, they'll tell you what to do next about midwife etc. how exciting!
9dpo here and BFN unfortunately this morning so I feel like I'm out now Sad

It's still very early. I've convinced myself the other way round, what with all the symptoms, but I think I'm in for a nasty shock :( It's happened before, I was 10 days late a couple of cycles ago and BFNs!

So I had weird nausea/cravings on Friday, then Sat a bit of spotting and heightened sense of smell. Sunday the nausea wasn't there anymore, apart from tiny flashes occasionally, but a tad more brown spotting and constant pinching feeling lower right abdomen, where I would think my ovary is. Not painful, but noticeable. Today, very low level flashes of nausea so far. But it could be anything, or my mind making it up.

Have you got symptoms?

They sound positive haquoi!
I've got soreish boobs but not really bad but kind of sensitive if you know what I mean. A bit of nausea on and off but to be honest I could be imagining all of it.
Are you waiting to test?

Thanks diamond! Same to you also, especially the nausea.
In theory I'm waiting to test... but the previous two tests have put paid to that. I'm thinking I'll wait until Wednesday, even though that's too early still and I'm currently trying to stop myself running out of the house to get some more tests. Usually I have better willpower than this! When's your next poas session planned?

Grin haquoi - you sound just like me!! Despite this morning's bfn I am considering going and buying more tests - I work in town so have lots of shops nearby me which is hard when I have no willpower!!
I've ordered some internet cheapies which should be delivered tomorrow so I am going to try my hardest not to buy any others and wait for them then should in theory wait til weds morning, it'll drive me crazy though!
Let me know if you do test again though and I will confess too if I do Smile

Also I'm so confused AF has completely disappeared after 1 day? I think it was too heavy to be spotting so not sure what's going on? I also had the headache from hell this morning and felt really sick until I have just eaten at lunch - maybe I'm not out?
