I've still got about a week to go before I can POAS. DH and I have been trying for about 5 months, but I have very irregular cycles so it's all really hard to judge. I usually go about 2 weeks between periods so following that, AF should be due to arrive before the end of this week. But I'm thinking that would be too early to test and am very impatient! I've also been taking agnus castus this month on the advice of a medical friend so I'm feeling tentatively hopeful. Anyone around who wants to wait it out with me and not read too much into every symptom and definitely not take a test every day this week?

Diamondsparkles ttc #2, age 37, cycle 11, bfp due June 13th (spookily that date is exact 1 year anniversary of dh saying to me he wanted to ttc - let's hope it has a positive effect for this month, gutted to have reached that milestone with nothing though

hewy · 17/05/2015 17:37

Antenatal thread for us all would be awesome. I talked dh through the SMEP this morning. He seemed ok with it and is happy for now to keep providing this stuff on demand! What a good lad! Come on little eggies and spermies.
Name: hewy
Ttc#1
Age 31
Cycle 5
BFP due 5th June

haquoi123 · 17/05/2015 19:26

That's amazing diamond, thanks! Fingers crossed this anniversary will be fruitful xx

haquoi123 ttc #2 (late miscarriage at 19 weeks), age 26,
cycle 6 (this month) bfp due 16th May
cycle 7 (when AF finally arrives) bfp due 15th June

Great that your dh is on board hewy!

Bfp: 27th

I can't believe my cycle number. I hope no one works out average stats because that will really mess it up! I don't even know the exact number as its been so long. I'm going to just call it 85.

SleepyDragon · 18/05/2015 07:54

Morning ladies!!!

hewy thank you! definitely fdownload the app, its a freebie one and really got my head in gear about waht was due when and its based on your cycle so doesn't 'guess' when your fertile window will be.

finding Definitely do not give up hope! a friend of mine (31, also o/weight) has been trying for 3 years and is now 23wk, and another just had her DS2 on IVF, there is always a chance.

haquoi we've decided to tell our parents this weekend after all. I was already feeling queasy in the mornings and we're all going on a big family holiday next week so it would be too hard to try hide my not eating certain things and being ill. we won't be telling anyone else until after the 12wk mark though.

i know a couple of you have mentioned going back through the post for my symptoms.... basically i had the following:

feeling queasy
feeling 'full'
sore tongue
went off coffee (although only for a week bizarrely)
lots of 'gas' Blush
feeling dizzy
random sharp 'pinching' pains

i did NOT have any implantation bleeding or sore boobs or EWMC

i do seem to have developed a really annoying peffy cough which is the start of my being sick for the past couple of mornings as opposed to just feeling queasy....

diamond thank you! i have been on the pill/injection/mini-pill for around 16 years and i think i had 4AF's in that entire time. I'm glad you thought i was getting my BFP, i just thought it was too much Nandos at lunch on Friday LOL My DH is over the moon which is really lovely to see as he is NOT an 'emotional' bloke lol!

Oh and linking from the other posts..... i'm an only child too! lol!

haquoi i also had a false negative so if AF doesn't come please do try again in a few days??

i agree with the ante natal thread too... you were the first 'ladies' i spoke to and i don't want to leave you now!!!

Greyhorses · 18/05/2015 08:35

Hi everyone!
First post to this thread!
Here's my stats
Age: 24
Cycle: 2

I'm having a very strange cycle this time- I thought I was in the 2ww after tracking ovulation with an app however I have now got ewcm again (a lot more than the first time!) on cd21...

Think this means I'm out this month as this means we have timed wrong! Good luck to everyone else Smile

haquoi123 · 18/05/2015 08:39

When did you get your false negative sleepy? I'm now doubting myself as to when AF is supposed to be due. Still no sign, but lots of discharge. No other symptoms though... Really glad you've told parents! :)

Rememberallball · 18/05/2015 08:56

Morning ladies,

I'm home after my weekend away and it was fab to unwind. Had a great night out with DP and then early to bed!! Having had a few glasses of white wine last night I'm sure that I'm getting headaches when I drink red only as I woke this morning with a pretty clear head!!

I poas this morning (15dpo according to ff) and got a bfn!! Not really very surprised as I had a feeling it would be because of how soon after af that I showed +ve opk.

Discussed SMEP with dp over dinner last night and he's agreed to give it a go in conjunction with me completing ff.

My temp this morning is up again at the highest its been while I've been charting (didn't do it yesterday as id have had to get out of bed for the thermometer) so that's got me thoroughly confused!!

Right, off to work now. Will check in later.

Rememberallball, 43, ttc #1, cycle 9 waiting for AF to know next bfp date.

diamondsparkles · 18/05/2015 09:08

Morning everyone!
Sorry to hear of bfn remember but I think a higher temp is good? Maybe ff got it wrong and you're still a bit early?
Haquoi - are you going to test again? You said you have got doubts as to when af due now? I'm hoping for you!
Will do the stats later, thanks everyone for the updates - hopefully I can do the link!
Sleepy - so pleased for you, exciting! So nice to hear your dh is thrilled too!
Cd 3 here - boring. Just want af to disappear

Rememberallball · 18/05/2015 09:23

Thanks diamond,

FF was telling me not to test until next week but I thought I would today seeing as my tww has passed. If I have another 25 day cycle like last month I'll be due a visit from AF in the next day or so but it might be longer again! !

haquoi123 · 18/05/2015 10:29

Hi grey, can you dtd now? I'm on cd32 and just got ewcm!! Argh! I wonder if I ovulated later than I thought diamond so will test on Wednesday if AF doesn't turn up. This is so annoying

SleepyDragon · 18/05/2015 11:19

haquoi i tested around 8 May some time (my AF was 9 - 14 and my FW was 30 April - 5 May) as somethng 'felt' different, i got a false negative and put the sharp pinches down to waiting for next AF which was due around then.

When AF didn't turn up and i started feeling fuller/gassier etc i decided (with everyones help on here!) to do another POAS and thats the one that came up BFP, around a week later!

SleepyDragon · 18/05/2015 11:22

sorry haquoi my FW was 19 - 26 April (looked at wrong week on calendar!)

haquoi123 · 18/05/2015 12:19

Thanks sleepy. I stupidly did another test and bfn (even with looking at it every which way). I just know I'm out but this is getting frustrating again! Grr

diamondsparkles · 18/05/2015 13:08

Sorry to hear about bfn haquoi - how frustrating for you.
Sorry for your bfn too remember
It really is the most draining experience.
I'm sat with a pregnant colleague today and I feel about a million miles away from my goal of getting pregnant - definitely having a bad day today!
Will be better tomorrow Smile

findingmyfeet12 · 18/05/2015 13:25

Sorry about your bfns Haquoi and Remember.

Thanks for the symptom list Sleepy. I felt "full" last week but it was the wrong time in my cycle to be significant. It's interesting about your false negative as I've heard that's fairly common and something to be aware of. I don't want you to get your hopes up Haquoi but I guess you're still not out of false negative territory?

My update is that I've still had no ewcm this cycle which I usually get around ovulation. I'm disappointed about that and also dreading another 6 days of dreadful side effects from next months clomid.

findingmyfeet12 · 18/05/2015 13:26

Sorry you're not feeling great Diamond. It's really hard to be around pregnant people.

diamondsparkles · 18/05/2015 13:45

Thanks finding - I know - it is difficult, I should deal with it better I guess but it's not easy.
It's disappointing you've not seen any ewcm however I have read that's it's not always apparent and it may be in there but doesn't show - if that makes sense?
What cycle day are you on now?

findingmyfeet12 · 18/05/2015 13:57

Cd 21 diamond. I'm not even tempted to test as I just have a gut feeling it's bfn this cycle. I'm already looking forward to the next cycle.

SleepyDragon · 18/05/2015 14:08

sorry to hear that haquoi Sad

finding i had heard of them but never even dawned on me it could be one, i was jut disappointed as normal then got my dates confused for AF so really didn;t know where i was.

The 'full' feeling went right up under my rib cage.

this monring i was queasy then it went off, then i stated to panic as i didn;t have tummyu ache, or need a pee, or have back ache or feel quaey... then i had lunch and now i'm queasy again! rolls eyes

birchygoo · 18/05/2015 14:24

ooh exciting to have stats thanks diamond

Sorry you are having a bad day diamond we all have them but when we get our bfp they will even more special!

haoqui sorry you are still in limbo - this happened me once and it was so horrid! I was constantly peeing on a stick and dh was trying to convince me just to leave it and see what happens - much easier said than done!!

Im cd9 today - what I dislike about ttc is that I feel I am wishing my life away! I couldn't wait until af was over to get started again, now I cant wait untl post ovulation to hopefully get a bfp and when I get a bfn (not going to happen this month though!) I cant wait to get af to get started again - just constantly wishing time away which I dont like

Ohh and is most of us doing the SMEP - we could call our bus something to do with that... if some of us aren't we can pick a diff name - PMA - positive mental attitude - I always think its great to have that - it takes you far in life Smile

birchygoo · 18/05/2015 14:27

im also not sure if you need my stats again diamond

Hi mayo, lovely to have you join :) sorry to hear about your AF, that sucks. How long have you been ttc?

Thanks everyone. I drank loads of water before hand so maybe I just diluted it (or I'm finding excuses). Is so annoying, this feels like the month that i was 10 days late but even then I had symptoms! Trying not to get cross. sleepy, I downloaded clue, but barely understand it! It's also put me at 4 days to go before my period (with all info about previous AFs) which I find odd..
finding, have you checked internally at all? I see barely anything in the outside and then when I check inside there's shed loads!

birchygoo · 18/05/2015 19:17

hi mayoforsam welcome to the bus! sorry AF has showed her ugly face! Angry how long have you been trying?

PS armaghforsam Wink x
