Sperm sample referral

How long did people wait to receive their letter to provide a sperm sample after referral from their GP?

Our gp told us on our first visit we would need to do one- which is pretty standard. Is this your first sperm analysis? If yes then you should just have to phone the hospital for a time to drop off sample x

Hi mrschatty The GP made the referral about 3 weeks ago and we've still not heard anything - just wondering if this is normal?

Our GP didn't need to do a referral- they just gave us the pack which had instructions on for dropping off at the local hospital. I rang on a Friday and got a slot at 9am Monday morning to drop it off.

Hmm now I'm wondering if he has done the right thing? I might call them tomorrow and check.
