TTC#3 as single mother by choice - which CD to "BD"?

OK, so my fertile days fall entirely over a holiday so there's quite some chance I will be transporting a nitrogen tank of frozen sperm from the sperm bank around on holiday!
I conceived DC1 with "BD" (i.e. sperm donation) on CD 10 and ovulation (later than expected) on CD14.
I conceived DC2 with "BD"on day 12 which was Ov day.
Last month I ovulated on Day 10-11 (both days + OPK)
I haven't been monitoring my cycle, it used to be anything from 25 to 27 days, very occasionally 28. This month it was 25 days.
What do you think the best day to "BD"?
I am abit interested in "swaying" for a girl but feel blasphemous even putting that down in words as I think I'd be super-dooper grateful for whatever I got, given I am now nearly 40 and time may actually have run out. And 3 boys would be fab, the big motivator in wanting a girl is curiosity as I haven't had one!
So I may follow the theories that you BD couple of days before Ov to sway for girl, or I could wait til OV day. The sperm is delivered in a container that freezes it for approx 5 days post receipt ... so I will have a few days flexibility to decide when to "BD". WWYD?

My personal view is that you cannot do anything to make you more likely to have a girl, it's all old wives tales. I would BD on your most fertile day.

Thanks Oyster, I think you are probably right. I read a fascinating study on the likelihood of having the 3rd child be the opposite gender after 2 of same gender and it said 47% chance whatever couples (or single, I guess!) did. It's probably just something to distract me from the total randomness of it all as I am just wanting a child anyway.

I suppose most fertile day is CD11 given last month's day of ovulation though it's hard to know as it has been CD 14 when I conceived DC1 (6 years ago) and CD12 when I conceived DC2 3.5 years ago...
