Broody all of a sudden!

For all those ttc, did the broodiness come on gradually or hit you all of a sudden?? My mum ways told me she wasn't interested in kids, then when she hit 27 she suddenly felt the NEED to have a baby! I'm 27 and a couple of months, two months ago I would've said I would be happy to wait another full year before even ttc. But in the last few weeks it's all I can think about! As much as I love the freedom DH and I have right now, if i found out I was pregnant I would be so happy! I've even been looking at baby clothes online Blush which is very unlike me as I'm not particularly sentimental or emotional. It's like my body is finally free of the hormones from the pill and telling me to procreate!!! Bit scary.

Hi looking, for me it's something I've wanted for a long time, and DH and I discussed when to start trying quite a while back, so it's nice to finally have started our TTC journey!
If you and your DH feel ready then go for it - good luck! Smile

Eek it's just so scary! In a good way of course. None of my group of friends from school or college have kids yet unfortunately, I wish one would! But whereas before the idea of being the only one put me right off, now I don't care I just want me and Dh to have a little'un. We went into mamas and papas the other day to buy his cousin a present and I would've loved to have look round for hours Blush we're definitely ready as we'll ever be...we've agreed to "not prevent" pregnancy so hopefully it won't be too stressful but I think it will be as im so stressy.

Good luck to you both!!!!!!!

I'm in a bit of a different situation in that I'm really not that broody at all, my partner is. It's definitely the right time for us to start a family so I'm hoping my broodiness will come when I see that bfp!

It was all of a sudden for me, when I was 29. And we were the first in our friendship group too.

And it's back...
