jemima sorry to hear AF might be arriving, it may only be the first month but I know it's still disappointing. No need to leave the bus though, we're all staying on regardless of when AF/BFP due, then we'll start the May bus in May!

Thanks ladies. Woolly I have no idea as this is my first month using opks. Think I may try temping next month to try & make some sense of my cycle. I'm on cd19. Grr feeling a bit today.

I've just been googling it - by the looks of it several people have had repeated flashing smileys but couldn't see any answers about why it happens or if I will eventually ovulate

jemima if AF does arrive (hopefully not) I recommend lots of chocolate and trash TV

Ahh mumof1 yes that's why I asked if it was your first month of using them, lots of people have had that issue (mine was the opposite in that I never got a flashing on my first month). How long are your cycles? Try starting to test a bit earlier next month if you can, the test basically measures your baseline hormone levels the first few days, it then detects your estrogen rise and lh surge from that baseline. So it could just be it hasn't got that baseline quite right yet, and therefore it's missed your peak. Definitely no need to worry just yet!! x

So out of my last 35 cycles 18 have been 26 days or over and 17 under 26 days, pretty much a 50/50 chance each month then!

I'm a 26/27 dayer and CB tests have indicated I ovulate around CD12. Fx your LP is just fine x

Thanks woolly :) Amazon have just sent me an email to say that my thermometer and opks are on their way so if no BFP this cycle will be all over that! Hoping that I just ovulate early but at least this will show me and will enable me to take action if needed :)

jemima were you on the implant for all that time?! I had it for 9 months back in '08, it really messed up my body and I ended up with acne for a year after it came out for some reason. Hope your cycles resolve themselves soon, i was leas to believe you could concieve quickly after removal unlike after coming off the pill.

mum could there be a fault with your kit? That doesn't sound right to me.

AF turned up this morning so at least this WTF cycle is over. When I put my temp in yesterday FF said it could no longer detect Ov!
I'm thinking about taking the extra b vits this time but they have 400 folic acid in them so does anyone know if it's Ok to also keep taking the seven seas trying for a baby vits as they also have folic acid.
Gonna get the DH to get on to the Drs to arrange his SA.

It's not all bad, means should be fertile on my hols in July ( instead of AF arriving) and would now be a 2016 edd.

Awww I see I'm still on the stats even though I deflected over to the mega bus. I guess I'm still ttc in April though! Couldnt really keep up with both buses but the mega bus went a bit dead. Anyway due to early ov I'm now due April 12th. And if I'm not preg then I get to have another attempt at iui.

DizzyNorthern, I conceived DS in 2006 who was subsequently born Feb 2007, conceived DD 4 months after DS's arrival (after a drunken fumble with DH...an unexpected surprise as AF's hadn't come back). Went on the pill as soon as DD was born and eventually went into Implant of which I've had two.

Walked to the park with the kids this morning and the cramps have subsided...the optimist in me is saying too many Easter eggs but the realist in me says the witch is gunning for me!

Night I have been waiting since last June to see the fertility doctor, and I rang 3 weeks ago when I had the CP to see if there was any sign of an appointment...I was told I should have one in May .. she told me that my doctors letter moved me up the list, as the more info they have about you the better, i.e. they can make a decision as to who needs to be seen quicker than others. My doctor sent all my file to them, so as to help them get a better picture of what is going on with me. The long AF's I have been experiencing have made me anaemic, and I have a blood test showing I have low progesterone. Try to stay positive! I agree with woolly there is no point worrying about having lp problems, unless you know for sure. I have had 26 day cycles, but if I had ovulated earlier than what I did my lp would have been fine.

Rainy34 I take the H&B complete B vitamin B-Complex 2 tabs a day & vitamin B6 2 x 50mg. I also take 2000 mg of EPO, vitamin D, Folic acid & I started taking Vitamin C.

Hair This is only my second cycle of taking the Bvits. I am going to see how I get on this cycle & then decide whether to continue taking them x I am sure you have to take them for 2/3 months before you see any changes??

auxiliaryauroch I am sorry to hear AF arrived . What was your lp this month? I am not sure how breastfeeding can affect your cycle tbh, but I feel it might be worth talking to your doctor about your lp.

Southy sorry for the baby bombs hope you are ok. The trial is straight forward and you get free products! Plus the pee pots are sealed and in tight closed bags and then put into closed Tupperware which they supply! It's really fine having them in fridge. Suppose depends how you feel though lovely
