Sorry Coffee hope you dont mind that I posted the stats?! Obvs your BFP is right round the corner!!Flowers

Juggling I sometimes start with wet or ewcm then too. I would start OPKs yeh, usually we start around that time too as if you have fertile cm you are fertile basically! Easter Grin

coffeenut · 03/04/2015 12:51

'course not sparkly!!!! Smile I'm getting a bfp this cycle anyway didn't you know?! Wink

I eat waaaay too much choc over easter. And drink waaay too much wine.

abi2790 · 03/04/2015 13:38

Afternoon ladies. I haven't been able to catch up on all posts cos I'm bloody knackered. Ds had an accident last night and got pee everywhere so he had to sleep in my bed!

Af didn't show her face and I'm winding myself up because I got that metallic taste in my mouth this morning but I've had two bfn's so I'm just torturing myself!

Hope everyone has a good easter.

Butterchunks · 03/04/2015 13:43

I'm having a bit of a catch up on here this morning, just reading back over the talk of having this as a current month bus. Love that idea, makes much more sense.

Hi alpha, I'm watching an old ep of OBEM and the couple involved started TTC on NYE and fell pregnant on the 6th of Jan (sigh)! I been TTC since Dec too, feeling very impatient but trying not to get too carried away worrying that it might never happen. In the meantime I've learnt so much from all these knowledgeable ladies here about my cycle that I didn't know before; I'm thinking it will come in handy in the future when not actively TTC. If you are using OPKs or thinking you might like to try some may I suggest you look here. I've been doing this (and I think a few other ladies have).

So dh and I just went to our local diy store and I swear everyone in there had a new baby Sad one parent in particular left their baby in it's car seat on the floor in the Middle of an aisle - we actually had to ask them to move their baby so we could get past! Why would you so that?! Feeling a bit bleugh today, can tell this month isn't the month, definitely getting all my usual AF synptoms, gutted

Southy84 · 03/04/2015 14:08

Sorry *do that

aletea · 03/04/2015 14:19

I got a very faint positive with an IC this more and a bfn with a cleablue! Will try again tomorrow I guess...!

tessiegirl · 03/04/2015 14:56

Just catching up... Woolly I am so excited you are going to the Cotswolds too! Have you ever been before? Can I ask what places you are going to visit because I am so confused of where to go....can't fit it all in in the time we will have so need to be selective!!! Confused

tessiegirl · 03/04/2015 15:03

Hello Alpha! Pleased you are going to join in more - sorry you are finding ttc tough. It is very difficult at times but there is great support on these buses to get you through the dark crap days!!

Coffee where in Spain did you visit?!

DaisyDuckSW15 · 03/04/2015 15:52

Thanks for sharing that link, butterchunks
I've applied!

Woolly84 · 03/04/2015 16:06

alpha we have exactly the same stats! Easter Grin

southy ugh talk about being baby bombed Hmm those sort of things get to me too! Sorry you're feeling bleugh, know that you're not out yet though! Pamper yourself with some choccy and DH cuddles, I find that usually helps!!Flowers

abi aww your poor DS! I read that as DH first - damn my speed reading! Shock hope AF turns up soon and stops winding you upHmm

tessie yes we got married in the Cotswolds, in a little village called Bibury, it was gorgeous!! So as well as there (biased!) I would recommend Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-water, all of which are about 30mins drive of each other (we did them over a weekend). Tetbury is also nice if you have time, and Upper & Lower Slaughter are supposed to be v pretty villages (though v small).
Later this month we're going somewhere near Tewkesbury to join the PIL who have kindly invited us along to celebrate their Ruby wedding anniversary with them! Smile how long are you going for? Xx

Yokyil · 03/04/2015 16:06

Thanks for the link butterchunks what do they do in the trial? I presume it's all just done from home?

Butterchunks · 03/04/2015 16:28

Yokyil one of the conditions of taking part is that you're not meant not discuss it on social media BUT what I will say is that it involves using one of their ovulation detection products, collecting wee samples once a day and posting them off (I think that is all mostly said on their website so I hope Im not overstepping the rules).

I filled in the questionnaire and got a phone call about a week later, had a further phone interview (just questions about cycles, how long ttc, etc) and it went from there. They will provide plenty of info during the phone calls and can answer any questions that I probably shouldn't on here. (Not sure what I'm afraid of, maybe they will hunt me down and conviscate my piss sticks!)

Yokyil · 03/04/2015 16:36

Grin lol butter ta for the info--thought that's what it would be anyway! Filled it in...see what happens!! Smile

tessiegirl · 03/04/2015 16:39

Ah Woolly I have been researching today and definitely want to visit Bibury as it looks gorgeous and also Castle Combe. I'm hoping we can visit these two places on our way up and stay in Burford for two nights before heading to Stratford for a night. I would also like to visit Sudeley Castle along with a couple of other places but can't decide out of Bourton-on-the-water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Upper and Lower Slaughter and Chipping Campden!!! Phew!! Its going to be a busy few days!!! Have wanted to visit the Cotswolds for ages, it just looks absolutely beautiful. Your wedding must have been gorgeous!!

MissMrsMummy · 03/04/2015 17:48

Well done aletea! Ics are more sensitive than clearblue so it might take a but longer to show on one of those

Woolly84 · 03/04/2015 17:58

That sounds lovely tessie! Hopefully you'll get to cover a fair bit in that time, I'm sure you'll love it! Easter Grin x

MissMrsMummy · 03/04/2015 18:04

Thanks for the link butter I considered the trial a couple of months ago but I was trying to be all relaxed about TTC then. I'm going gung-ho now so I've signed up!

OP posts:
MsAR · 03/04/2015 19:04

Teesside, try Campden. Bourton is a bit touristy / tacky. The slaughters are gorgeous too. I grew up in Moreton so know the area well!

Southy84 · 03/04/2015 19:09

I'm sure I read somewhere else online about having to keep wee in the fridge- that freaked me out so I don't think I'll be signing up for the trial! Dh had a look of horror when I told him that too haha

Butterchunks · 03/04/2015 19:26

Southy84 That might be true but I can neither confirm or deny Wink. For the past few weeks there has been an old re-purposed quality street tin (although they're not tins any more are they?) in my fridge. Any wee that might be in fridges is very well sealed and bagged up.

Southy84 · 03/04/2015 19:52

What a brilliant idea butter if by any chance at some point in your life you had to refrigerate your wee Wink it makes it sound a bit less scary hehe

tessiegirl · 03/04/2015 20:32

Thanks for that MsAR! We booked our hotel in Burford this evening so just need to plan the finer details now. We are also hopefully going to visit Chavenage House where the TV series Poldark is filmed. Really looking forward to it Easter Smile
