Ah that could be it banana, although if you always sleep with it open I would still expect a pattern?
No harm in giving vaginally a go, although I always wondered how people do that without being fully awake! X

Sparkly123 · 02/04/2015 12:15

Ok mammoth post coming up! Sorry in advance and sorry if I have missed you I've tried to catch up best I can! Hope everyone is ok! Easter Grin this bus is gonna bring a load of Christmas babas!!!!!

Oh my! 8 pages to catch up on!

Cariad how are you lovely? Do you feel less stressed now your dates are out the way? I'm still optimistic for you this cycle lovely! It's easter after all!! Easter Grin

Coffee sorry for AF lovely. Tuck into some Easter eggs and keep your chin up my dear Easter SmileFlowers I agree with Dizzy on soy. I steer clear. Almond milk is good.. And will be packed of selenium which is good for fertility!

Mistletoe I love the name!! There's been a few ladies lately bfing and TTC on the threads. One in particular just got her BFP last week! So it can def happen lovely! Good luck! Flowers

Melon so sorry for bfn, I posted on the other bus to you too. It's hard when these dates come around. But next cycle that will no longer be hanging over you and you can start a fresh.i know you will have a down day but I am sure you will pick yourself up again.. Try and stay positive it WILL happen.. It's just a matter of time. Which is so hard I know. But keep focused on the fact that you WILL get there Flowers

Missmrs how are you doing lovely? Flowers

Purple I like your chart Easter Wink

Trixie sounds like some radical changes but good! I hope these help you on your way to a BFP pre IVF! Easter Grin oh and I agree, felt so AF like before my January BFP.. So keep positive Cariad ! Easter Grin

Night cutting sugar is hard. Not gonna lie. If you cut down slowly bit by bit then replace it with a fruit instead to get the sweet kick (low gi fruit is best) once it's been out your bloodstream a week or so you won't crave it anymore honest. It's amazing how quickly you can turn it around!

Juggling glad you are feeling better Flowers

Brew tea wise! I do love pukka and teapigs however I tend to drink my own.. Fresh ginger is very good and a nice warming one for post OV! And also- fresh mint is also good. You just need a tea strained and you can come up with all sorts!

Alpal welcome to the bus! We are a nice bunch really... Easter HmmEaster Grin

Malibu pop in and out whenever you wish! We don't all need to contribute ALL the time! Good luck to you this cycle! Flowers

Southy so sorry for such a long TTC journey this far. It's so draining. You are doing so well and you are clearly a very determined lady! I'm glad you are now getting help with bloods etc and starting the ball rolling again. You obviously needed that break and I think for going forward it will have done you the world of good. I'm so sorry to hear about your mc also. Heartbreaking. But you CAN and WILL get your BFP again. We are all right behind you! Flowers

Surfer welcome back! Remember you! How are you?

Laura sorry about the eye sounds sore!! Hope your LP is good this cycle!

Boris China?! Don't they know you are trying to make a real life baby here?! Pfttt!! Hope you are not too stressed lovely Flowers

Mumof1 hi! I hope you OV soon and can give dtd a miss over the weekend! Fingers crossed!!

On the subject of telling people about TTC- no one knew existing our parents as due to my health issues we had to have a plan of action should my health deteriorate for a while I relapse bad during pregnancy/after birth. However.. After our early mc in January, more people now know about that but don't discuss it with us. It's not great as you feel constant expectation but who cares it's not about anyone else is it? I wouldn't worry what people think Mistletoe people always like to put their two cents in, but at the end of the day it's your life and you have to live it!

MrsGinger I've been asking about you!! You have been AWOL! Glad to see you. How are you? Easter Grin good luck with your exam!

Juney plan C!! Yes!! I'm glad you settled on something. So are you ready to go this cycle?!

Marys how's things today? Been thinking of you Flowers

Re dietary things- did everyone here see my post last cycle on Zita West eating for TTC? If not and you want the details I'm happy to post again Easter Grin

loopylou1984 · 02/04/2015 12:15

Sorry to hear that Abi Hmm

Sparkly123 · 02/04/2015 12:16

Sorry about bfn Abby. This April bus is the one! Keep strong Flowers

juneybean · 02/04/2015 12:16

I think so Sparkly eeek! Bit scared but it'll fine once I get my BFP... feeling sad I'm not getting my 2015 baby though :( (unless baby is early of course!)

Sparkly123 · 02/04/2015 12:16

Abi sorry!! Not Abby!!

Sparkly123 · 02/04/2015 12:17

You never know Juney lovely! So how long until you get sample?!

MelonMelon · 02/04/2015 12:17

Sorry Abi

Bfn for me too so I know what you're going through.

Thanks for all our kind messages. I was quite teary this morning with it being EDF day. My BFF has donated to the miscarriage association which I thought was so lovely.

Doing ok now but I think I'll take a few days off the buses. No sign of AF yet but not hopeful as don't even think I ovulated (no positive opk)

Flowers
MelonMelon · 02/04/2015 12:18

*EDD not EDF

BananaRaces · 02/04/2015 12:19

Oh no Abi, sorry to hear that. Flowers for you.

DizzyNorthernBird · 02/04/2015 12:19

banana I'd also wondered about the mouth breathing thing but wondered if it was what was causing my steady temps, ie if it did it all the time. DP doesnt know if I sleep with my mouth open and he baulked when I mentioned vaginal temping lol, so I guess that's out for me. If it makes you feel reassured about your temps though give it a go, it's meant to be more reliable.

abi2790 · 02/04/2015 12:19

7th time lucky maybe? really upset with this one. Af is all over the place so I reckon I'm going to be with you ttc ladies for a long while Sad

BananaRaces · 02/04/2015 12:23

Flowers for you too Melon, be kind to yourself. Glad your BFF is being so lovely.

tessiegirl · 02/04/2015 12:23

Hi everyone, I haven't been able to get on the Mumsnet site all morning so just trying to catch up now quickly. Normally I read/comment whilst eating breakfast but in a bit of a rush now I'm afraid and got lots to sort out here so apologies for not very long post!

Melon I am so sorry to hear you got a bfn. Please look after yourself today Flowers

Mistletoe agree as others have said that its not up to anyone else in your life when you have a baby! On the subject of who we have told about ttc....my four closest friends know as well as my mum who is my best friend so it only felt right to tell her, plus she is the person I talk about (most) things with so she will be a fantastic support through the ttc journey! Since we got married last year I am amazed at the number of people who think it is ok to ask us outright if we are ttc! Even people we don't know very well!!! I just go bright red and say no, but must look obvious I'm lying.....oh well!

After todays temp, FF has now changed my ovulation date to CD16 from CD18 and given me dashed red crosshairs!!! FFS!!!! Angry

DizzyNorthernBird · 02/04/2015 12:30

trixie I didn't realise you were only supposed to have 25g of sugar a day.....one tablespoon! I've stopped eating sweets and chocolate bars, desserts etc since Sunday. I still have a drizzle of honey on my breakfast but it's gales honey, the squeezy stuff which apparently isn't good for you either. I'm going to Holland and Barrett when I get a chance to invest in some better quality stuff. I'm also still having my chocolate covered Brazil's but I only eat three or four and it gives me the taste to take the edge off cravings.

I've found I'm craving less already though and I've been making deliciously Ella salads for my lunch. This seems to have stopped me needing to eat crap later on in the day. Fx we can keep up the good work, it's tough but I'm sure we'll reap rewards later!

Southy84 · 02/04/2015 12:33

Just read your lovely comment through tears sparkly feeling very emotional today.

Sending Flowers to you melon and abi

Feeling lucky to be sharing this journey with all you lovely ladies, wish id joined sooner x

TrixieRay · 02/04/2015 12:59

Sorry for the BFN Abi, you are not out until AF arrives though.

Melon, what a lovely BFF you have, such a thoughtful thing to do.

Sparkly, thank you Easter Grin

Dizzy, I think 50g is ok but they say ideally 25g. See if you can get some manuka honey, it's not cheap but it is delicious and full of goodness apparently (I read about it on the buses months ago) I was having a tiny bit in my yogurt for a while but have run out. I'm sure we can keep up the good work, no better incentive than a BFP! I really need to check out deliciously Ella.

coffeenut · 02/04/2015 13:04

Sorry abi Sad

melon I'm glad your friend is so lovely. Look after yourself and don't stay away too long x

thanks for your comments lovely sparkly - we are very lucky to have you onboard.

Still can't work out flipping chart posting business (and I actually have a whole cycle chart of which I'm v proud! Ha!). Won't let me email myself. GRRRR. Re mouth breathers ... I've been using an ear thermometer and chart is a little rocky but managed to pick up Ov and had a clear temp drop day before AF, so may be another avenue to consider (so to speak)

Juney what is plan C??

MelonMelon · 02/04/2015 13:09

I've sent in a donation too. Has made me feel a lot better. I'm very lucky to have lots of supportive friends in RL x

loopylou1984 · 02/04/2015 13:26

Coffee - if FF is on your mobile then what I do is take a screen shot then upload the pic through the mobile site (not the app) xx

MissMrsMummy · 02/04/2015 13:28

abi2790 · 02/04/2015 14:14

I'm lucky to have already have a toddler that makes me laugh. Dp also made me laugh when he got from work and I told him about the bfn. At least one of us is relaxed about it!

DizzyMerry · 02/04/2015 14:48

Sorry for the bfn abi.

Sorry you are feeling down southy, melon and mrsb Flowers. You will get there, you really will. You are brave and determines ladies, that bfp can't evade you for too long.
