Sainsburys test- positive?

Sorry- I have thrown out the stupid instructions. Looked like this after two minutes. Control line is very faint. The up line of the cross is really strong- so if that is the positive I guess I am pregnant. The horizontal line is definetly there, but is less blue so if that is the line which means positive I guess it might be a false reading.

Having just googled this test I see they can be unreliable so need to run out and buy another- bit my toddler is sleeping and a bit under the weather so I have t wait.

Anyone have any thoughts on this to get me through the next hour? Thanks

That looks positive to me

Hmm... Me too- just wish I could remember which line is the crucial one for indicating positive. Thanks

Go out and buy a FRER. It's the only way to know for sure. Fingers crossed for you!

I used Sainsburys tests and it is the vertical line of the cross which indicates positive. This looks MEGA strong positive to me! How many DPO are you?

mrsfazruns · 31/03/2015 17:06

That's positve xx

cookiefiend · 31/03/2015 18:09

Thanks so glad someone can remember the instructions. No idea how many dpo. Still bf DD who is 18 mo. Has one period in January. took two tests in the week after next one due in February and they were negative and I just assumed periods were not back on track yet. So I will find out I guess.

Thanks- DH on way home to will tell him and send him to supermarket for a digital one to see if it give and idea of weeks.

That's a very strong positive, the other lines are so faint because the positive line has stolen most of the ink! Congratulations!!

butterflyFairy1 · 01/04/2015 09:53

I agree with Rik - when the test line is a lot darker than the control line/lines it means there's a LOT of HCG in your system so it pulls the ink from the control line!

You're very pregnant by the looks of it - could even be multiples ;)

cookiefiend · 01/04/2015 16:36

Arg thanks butterfly! Rik that makes sense thanks. I tested last night with a clearblue digital and it said pregnant 3+. I have a scan in about three weeks as my last period puts me at 12 weeks then, though I am fairly certain I am less pregnant than that.

Thanks all for your help!
