I'm back feeling much better than I was earlier. Falling pregnant is not something which I can control but I'll just have to keep on going because this is important to me and something I really want.

Sparkly we were exactly the same and decided to forego the honeymoon for our new house. It was well worth it but the down side is we still haven't got round to having that honeymoon but I guess it's not something which matters now as we have DD and DH is really busy with work

Sparkly my bloods are on Thursday so not long now. I will wait for the results and then DH will arrange to see his GP. We will then move towards private treatment if there are 'issues' that need addressing as don't think we will be entitled to help on the NHS and don't want to be waiting around for further tests. I am hoping it doesn't come to that but at least we have agreed on a plan which puts my mind at ease

That's a long time to be waiting for the results Sparkly. Did they give you any hints whilst you were having the test?

Yes babs you have LH in your system all the time but it surges just before Ov. The lines need to be the same shade or test line darker.
oyster I got married so long ago that we had to marry in a registry office as didn't want to marry in church. Got my dress from monsoon in the sales. Had a budget wedding but splashed out on the honeymoon

Huge, massive congratulations to the BFPs. I am so happy for you, but in the same breath, I must admit to feeling rather selfishly despondent. I didn't realise that being on the same bus with pregnant ladies would hurt so much and I kind of think that I maybe don't belong here and I'd be better off on the monthly buses again. I am so pleased to hear about your BFPs, but the joy of the monthly buses is that everyone is kind of on the same, level playing ground. As someone who isn't really off the starting blocks yet and has had to put TTC on the back burner because of the need for AF, I only have CM and very rare cramps to discuss. I think I might feel differently if I was experiencing menstruation, but I am in a hazy limbo and don't really 'fit' anywhere...

Then again, I may just be having a bad day and wake up tomorrow full of the joys... Sorry for airing...

babs Opks are a wonderful pain in the ass. Hate comparing lines but an amazing way to detect ov. Lines usually start appearing for me on cd10 but I have a 32 day cycle. They go away completely after ov for me.

CD 9 here and feck all to report. Not a goddam symptom. (TMI...) got some weird 'white stretchy ball of snot' cm this evening too so that can't be good. Bugger.

babs I'd stick them to a bit of paper and write the CD next to it, then you can see the progression. I thought mine had gone positive as the next day's seemed paler, but did one the day after that as well to triple check and lo and behold it was properly properly dark that day. You can probably safely wait a couple of days before doing it again though to save them up as that one is quite pale.

I desperately want to hang around to hear all your news and updates but I definitely don't want to upset anyone. It is still a TTC bus, regardless of the fact it no longer has a monthly expiry date, and that should be respected. I won't be using this bus to discuss any more of my journey but I hope you don't mind me still following yours' and keeping up to date with you all.

babs don't worry I was the same until I found the buses. The opks are so cheap the first few cycles you might as well start way too early until you know when you ov, then you can just start a few days before. I found it helps to keep them to compare - I was throwing them away and never sure if I was getting a positive.
