If you can keep up with a bus that fills up in one weekend and chat shit then jump aboard the bus you are never allowed to leave! Trying to set a target for most BFPs on one bus!

No LPBs allowed!

Corn on the cob is yellow. No yellow food can be bad for you, surely?

wotsits1 · 31/03/2015 20:15

Mind you... butter is yellow. Gah?

nightandthelight · 31/03/2015 20:17

I refuse to not eat any fruit and veg, it's processed foods that make people put on weight. Am also a big fan of carbs (should make up 60% of our calorie intake) so am probably not the best person to advise Hmm

mrsb0710 · 31/03/2015 20:19

I do dearly love our dog...but today was not my 'winning at life' day. Ho hum, worse things happen!

DH has just taken him out for a run, in the freezing cold, windy, shitty weather.

Early night I think, nice weather to snuggle under the duvet and read a book. Plus, I have about 40 min of peace whilst dh and puppy are out!

Sparkly123 · 31/03/2015 20:20

Catch up in a bit on everyone only skim read. Saw Boris post though.. Great news! Glad things are moving for you this is very positive no? Lucky you having such a great doctor! The every three day/two day thing scares me a little though!! Eeek.. Have we been doing too much?! Currently awaiting right now to AI again... Hmm

Juney are you out there?!

Spinneroo yes my temp hasn't shot up yet so I dunno what to do re stopping AI!! I would think today/Tomor will surely be enough! Bit concerned about the eod thing too as we have done every day since positive OPK!! How's you?

Hairstylisttoboris · 31/03/2015 20:22

sparkly do you aim for every day or EOD? Is your DHs sperm good? I think you should be ok!

Pixa · 31/03/2015 20:25

Night - How are you getting on with your fitbit? Quite tempted to buy my husband the Surge.

Giddy I may upload a photo later of my dedication to my weighed snacks. I do realise I will look more neurotic than I already do

Nomio - Putting an offer in is so exciting! How are you feeling about it?

ThePug Huge congratulations Grin Wishing you a very healthy and happy 9 months. I am definitely going to do the SMEP if we don't conceive this mont, and I may buy a microscope! Thank you for sharing.

Sammy Sorry for AF arriving. I know what you mean about not temping and trying to have fun. Stay positive. Smile

Sparkly How are you feeling? Ha ha, DH is definitely not Mr Grey DH is, by far, more infuriating. The Vatican tour was amazing, it was from a girl who works in the Vatican museums, she was so knowledgeable. DH gave me another clue tonight, apparently, we are going to a palace!

Welcome Abi. Smile

Purdey if you're still reading, I hope you are feeling okay. Please come back to us at some point. Smile

Envy it sounds as though you're all having very delicious meals this evening!

If I haven't caught up with you, or if I have missed someone, I am sorry. I am trying very hard to keep up with you all!

nightandthelight · 31/03/2015 20:26

I love it thanks pixa, really like being able to track my runs. I have the Charge HR. Which do you have? Am in competition with DH and mum in terms of steps Grin

Pixa · 31/03/2015 20:29

I also have Charge HR and love it. I don't really compete on steps anymore and use the heart rate monitor more than anything else. Its extremely handy for the interval training that I am forced to do Smile

Which colour did you get? I was too impatient so only have the black one.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 31/03/2015 20:29

Congrats thepug and toadie
mrsb hope you feel better soon.
boris sounds like you got yourself a good GP.
oyster yum I haven't had corn for ages, might have to get some, look forward to seeing some photos.
Hope everyone else is ok.

Oysterbabe · 31/03/2015 20:30

Not sure whether sweetcorn counts as one of your 5 a day officially. I put it in the carb category with potatoes so don't count it. Over the years I've discovered that if I eat too many carbs I'm just hungry all the time so gain weight. I've never been one for processed food, just lots of food Smile
I've found the right balance for me now and it mostly involves limiting carbs, especially the white kind, and every now and then just having anything I want anyway. This way I'm not hungry and can maintain a weight that starts with 9 for the first time in many years! It's been good for my running too, a half hurts a lot less these days.
I guess it's just finding something that suits you.

spinningirl10 · 31/03/2015 20:30

Babs, I would start using opks from cd10 ish if you have a 28 day cycle. You need to use twice a day to catch you peak Smile

Oyster, yay wedding photos, can't waitGrin

Sparkly, I'm good thanks. Quite like the start of the 2ww as there's nothing going on. Af due 11th but I'm off to Kent for My uncles funeral very early on the 10th and staying overnight so that should keep me from symptom spitting too much.

tessiegirl · 31/03/2015 20:31

Funnily enough I noticed that corn is worth more points on weightwatchers.... Hmm

spinningirl10 · 31/03/2015 20:32

Sparkly, when do you get the results of your scan/test thingymajiggy? Smile

nightandthelight · 31/03/2015 20:32

I also have the black pixa, didn't realise there were other colours! How do you use the heart monitor? I feel that I need to use mine more effectively when exercising.

Sparkly123 · 31/03/2015 20:32

Thepug wow you did lots of tracking this cycle! Amazing! So happy for you. Glad you had a nice lunch! Cycle two! Amazing amazing amazing! Well done lovely Flowers

abi welcome!! Fingers crossed this is the lucky cycle for you! Good luck Tomor. Grin

pixa sorry you have had a stressful day. Hope you can relax now. Flowers

mrsb oh nooo! Nightmare for you!!! Hope you are feeling less unwell today?? Flowers

nightandthelight · 31/03/2015 20:34

Realise that I came across a bit critical about diet oyster, apologies Flowers Sounds like it's all working for you which is fantastic. I think that I have a pretty healthy diet (everything homemade etc) but do have too many carbs (and too much chocolate).

Sparkly123 · 31/03/2015 20:34

Boris we usually follow smep. And the first month of doing smep we got a BFP! coincidence so usually every other day then three days in a row over positive OPK, then miss a day then one more. Dh spermies count is good so I'm hoping that's ok!!

Sparkly123 · 31/03/2015 20:37

Spinning Bfp you mean!! Not AF!!! Mine is due 11th too! Grin gosh I keep forgetting you are still waiting for the funeral, it's just torturous!!! How are the family?? Your mum?
The hystebafvstvlogxacbon results- goodness knows! Apparently four-six weeks which I think is insane! They just said the consultant would contact me, I hope soon as I also wanted to discuss the fact that it was so terrible for me and just go for a follow up in general. Guess it's a waiting game now.

Pixa · 31/03/2015 20:39

Night I just use mine as a rough guide, but I did a little bit of research on what my maximum heart rate should be and the other heart rate zones. I know if I am running on the treadmill and I check my heart rate and it's around 190bpm that I need to slow down and drop it a bit before I go back up. It's quite nerdy but the Brianmac website had some basic information on about heart rate zones and calculations.

There are four different colours I think.

My PT has never really mentioned them, but I keep an eye on it because I can never stop analysing!

Sparkly123 · 31/03/2015 20:40

pixa wow. A palace! Well he sounds Christian grey ish to me mrs!! How exciting! I'm ok, pretty worn out. I love Rome. The Vatican is just fantastic. I've been so many times to Rome because I have family in Italy and we often Stopover, but there's still always something different to see. It really is magical! Grin

Pixa · 31/03/2015 20:42

Thank you *Sparkly, slowly starting to relax now. I went on an amazing course but then had some difficult work decisions to make later. They're done now but it will take a few months to see how they play out. Hope you are well. Smile

nightandthelight · 31/03/2015 20:45

Thanks pixa will have a look at it on my next run :)

Pixa · 31/03/2015 20:46

Sparkly I shall tell him you said so, I am sure he will be pleased with your assessment! Grin

Rome is beautiful, one of my favourite places. I would love to explore more of Italy. I really loved going to the Borghese Gallery, the park was just around the corner from our hotel. Seeing Bernini's work, actually took my breath away.

Family in Italy must be both lovely and difficult. Which part of Italy are they in? Smile

I would go back to Rome in a heart beat. Smile

Pleased to hear you are well, get your feet up if you're exhausted!

Oysterbabe · 31/03/2015 20:48

No probs Night Smile

Sparkly stress levels are ok at the moment. It's been a bit of a whirlwind and I think that's helped! We got engaged on 15th December and decided to just go for it asap. It's meant that we've just made loads of quick decisions. Although I did message the people who haven't booked their hotels yet yesterday to let them know that I'll be confirming final numbers with the venue in a week or so and if anyone pulls out after that I'll have them killed.
