Congrats Char! Wonderful news! Today you're pregnant, repeat repeat repeat!

Diana that's weird, I'd say wait for when AF is due and see?

blue it's very blurry and I can never see a line on ICs test again tomorrow?

Not much to report here except that we had no water yesterday which has been fixed except the water tank in the loo! Waiting for a plumber to come...

Morning ladies thanks for the welcomes.
I'm slightly behind you all, like indomitable I am having my coil removed next week Grin hoping that I don't get too obsessed with it all, I know my friends will be watching and making comments if I give any hint we are ttc again.
I tried temping last time, but got frustrated with it, plan to just have some fun for the next few months and see what's happens.

Congrats Char, fingers crossed for more bfp's soon.

Torfhinn · 15/05/2015 11:11

Congratulation Charchar! Here's to a very boring pregnancy Flowers

Sorry I've not been around much this week. I think DS had gingivostomatitis, he's very unhappy, very drooly, not sleeping well and not really eating, so it's been a looooong week. Felt a bit guilty dropping the poor morsel off a nursery this morning looking so sad, but I really need a break!

Fx for all those in the TWW, I feel your pain. AF finally arrived on Tuesday so it was a 32 day cycle in the end! Now CD 3 so gearing up for next week! I've warned DH that next week is 'sex week'. He seemed quite happy Grin

Sorry Blue, I think the photo is a bit too blurry to see, fx for you though. Def test gain tomorrow Smile

Congtrats Indominable, it's pretty scary/exciting to make that decision, but you have to wait until it feels right. Fx for you!

woundbobbin · 15/05/2015 11:58

Congratulations char hope you have an uneventful 9 mths.
Fx for you beanie.
Carrot hope you get full water restoration soon.
Diana I hate the anxiety of to drink or not to drink I was very good when TTC #1 until the actual month we conceived when I got hammered twice Shock
To those of you with a short luteal phase do you find that AF doesn't last very long I've gone from a normal 5 days pre dc1 to 4ish post baby to the last few months barely two days!! Am trying not to convince myself that something is very wrong.

bluebeanie · 15/05/2015 12:24

Congratulations Char!

mrsmugoo · 15/05/2015 12:42

Woundbobbin ive always had shortish cycle (circa 25/26 days) and v short AF (2-4 days) but as DS was an accident I've never actually pinpointed ovulation before and I never really understood about luteal phases until recently.

DianaOstara · 15/05/2015 14:07

I just did a test - bfn (obviously!) I'm feeling relieved in a way as I know now that solid smiley was definitely for ovulation and I can now go and enjoy my weekend guilt-free (well mostly, there's still a chance but I'm nit putting my life on hold for ttc and its my hen weekend!!!)

I need to order pg test on internet next time...does anyone else feel like a promiscuous teenager at the Tesco checkout when buying them? (Especially when buying a bottle of prosecco at the same time Blush !)

mrsmugoo · 15/05/2015 14:18

Oh Diana that did make me chuckle! Yes I've felt quite self conscious buying opks too - like the checkout operator KNOWS what I'm doing in my private life!

MarysPrayer · 15/05/2015 15:51

Afternoon everyone, hope you're all enjoying the sunshine. Smile

Sorry AF arrived LaPampa, it's so cruel when she's late.

Congrats Charchar and fx for you bluebell

Mrsm I love that you've never wasted ££ on stupid pee sticks. Think of all the treats you should rightly buy yourself in their place Grin

I took dd to the park this morning. It seemed that all the other mums had either a baby or a bump. I found myself doing the 'age gap calculation' in my head.
I would've been 12 weeks today Sad

I know it sounds superficial and daft but I really enjoyed being pregnant over the summer last time.

Indomitable · 15/05/2015 17:39

Thanks Torfhinn. The whole decision to have a second seems way bigger than the first. On the one hand I'm feeling the pressure to get going before I'm 35, on the other... I quite like how things are at the moment.

Nice to see Messy is at the same stage. Though it's a few weeks till they can fit me in for the 'whip-out'. "No rush", I told the receptionist!

bluebeanie · 15/05/2015 20:18

Bfp. Just thought, that means both dc are results of holidays!

Mixed emotions, but ultimately happy. I wish you all the best ladies.x

mrsmugoo · 15/05/2015 20:49

Bluebeanie - two one cycle wonders?! Amaaaazing!

mrsmugoo · 15/05/2015 20:52

I've got to get through the weekend without the witch making an appearance...

mrsmugoo · 15/05/2015 22:26

Enjoy your hen weekend Diana!

bluebeanie · 15/05/2015 23:17

First was 3 cycles. We are so shocked!

CharChar2015 · 16/05/2015 03:16

Thanks for the congratulations guys... Hope you don't mind if I keep lurking and cheering you on your bfp's too! I've had a peep at the antenatal boards but they seem so busy and a bit scary haha.

Congratulations blue!! I bet we have a similar edd! Lol. Are you going to antental boards?

Enjoy the hen do Diana

And best of luck to rest of you :)

bluebeanie · 16/05/2015 06:33

Hi Char. I know what you mean re the boards. I think I'll lurk for a bit.

mrsmugoo · 16/05/2015 09:04

I really enjoyed the antenatal thread I had first time - some of us are still on a Facebook group now and have watched our babies turn into toddlers, it's lovely!

mrsmugoo · 16/05/2015 09:51

7DPO / CD25 for me today. On absolute tenterhooks because a lot of my cycles have been 25 days.

Getting watery, slightly stretchy CM.

CuppaSarah · 16/05/2015 12:24

Hello people!!! I have been lurking from.the shadows but wanted to come see how everyone is! Tango and queazy have joined me on the Christmas and new years baby thread! Which is brilliant. I come back and find two more bfps!! Congrats blue and char! Also good luck everyone in the ttw.

Have a fan hen do Diana! Also mrsmugoo I have two packs of 30 soy iso from tesco still sealed. If you pm me your address I can post them to you? We might be able to invoke sods law and you'll get a bfp a day before they arrive.

Sorry to everyone AF got, I hope its the last you see her for the best part of a year!

Raeside · 16/05/2015 14:51

Yay positives! I hope they are contagious. Congratulations!

CD20 here, lord knows what day DPO seeing as OPK sticks said nothing but staring, horrid circles. 9 days before period due - my boobs usually start hurting about now but they've been very sore all week. Weird. And had a 3-day headache which started after I swam on Wednesday night.

Who knows. Is there an average length luteal period? Seems I must've O'd fairly early (if at all) this time around.

mrsmugoo · 16/05/2015 20:24

Question: if you have a short luteal phase when do you poas? When your AF is late? Or after a certain amount of dpo?

Tomorrow AF is "due" but only 8dpo, cd26. Should I poas or wait?

I'm thinking I should wait til Monday or Tuesday. Wwyd?

Torfhinn · 17/05/2015 11:01

It's a difficult one mrsmugoo, but i think the tests work on dpo, so you are probably best to wait until Monday or Tuesday.... step away from the tests! i guess though, it depends on whether you would prefer af or a negative test? fx for you that this is your month Smile

Very boring cd 6 here!

mrsmugoo · 17/05/2015 11:07

Well seeing as I've never done a pregnancy test, it would be quite nice to maintain a 100% record of no bfns!

mrsmugoo · 18/05/2015 07:03

Cd27 / 9dpo ...still no AF and I think today I will buy a stick to pee on either tomorrow or Wednesday.
