All ages and age gaps welcome!

I'm 29, have a 16mo DS, TTC since periods came back in July 2014, had a mc in Jan.

Anyone else?

Cd23 today. I'm holding out for a longer cycle but I have had some 24 and 25 day cycles before. If I get AF tomorrow though I'll be devastated :(

mrsmugoo · 14/05/2015 07:08

I've read that vitamin b6 can help lengthen LP and taking soy isoflavones (natures clomid)

I've already started on the b6, I'll be buying soy iso as soon as AF arrives.

LaPampa · 14/05/2015 10:49

Hello all - sorry disappeared for a bit. Much as I didn't want to symptom watch as it was first month, I did, of course. Period has arrived this morning on CD28 (after months and months of 26 day cycles!).

I took your advice and bought some of the ovulation testing things, so will try that next month. So if today is now CD1, I start testing on CD10, is that right?

I can't believe how much I've forgotten about this, despite it only being 4/5 years since I last tried :)

CarrotPuff · 14/05/2015 11:01

Mrsmugoo I find 5:2 very easy too, and it distracts from TTC a bit. I've lost almost all my baby weight in the first 6 months, only had about 4lbs to go, but then put half a stone on during a home visit and couldn't shift it. Started doing 5:2 and I'm now below my pre preg weight :) I want to lose another 9lbs though.

Also you need to take b6 complex, not just b6 on its own.

Yep I'm taking a high strength vitamin b complex that we already had in the house. Seems like soy iso could really help too.

I know what you mean about 5:2 distracting from TTC, it feels like my little side project!

mrsmugoo · 14/05/2015 12:09

LaPampa - yeah cd10 sounds about right but it depends on cycle length. It's all in the instructions in the packet though.

mrsmugoo · 14/05/2015 12:40

I'm totally being a symptom spotting crazy bitch but my boobs are sore and I'm a bit crampy when I never normally am before AF.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

DianaOstara · 14/05/2015 12:57

Mrs fingers quietly crossed for you! :). Now find something to distract yourself so you don't drive yourself crazy!! Are you a tester or not? I didn't test last time but am planning on testing next week - not sure which day yet!

mrsmugoo · 14/05/2015 13:28

True story: I've never taken a pregnancy test in my life Shock

I know, crazy huh? First pregnancy was a happy accident and only got picked up via a blood test.

I have some supermarket cheapies but my LP is so short I can't test til next when AF is late. I'm only 5dpo on cd23 of (optimistic) 27 day cycle giving only 9 day LP Hmm

DianaOstara · 14/05/2015 15:24

That first test will be 'the one' :)

Indomitable · 14/05/2015 18:29

Hello all, I'm still lurking around passing the time, waiting for it to be a good time to TTC. I've run all the timings through and have concluded that there is no best time, and have finally booked in to have the coil out.

This feels like a momentous step! Woah.

Hope there's some BFPs from you all soon!

birdbrain21 · 14/05/2015 19:17

So hard to keep up with you all, but one thing has stuck in my mind from reading previous posts, mrsm you've never tested?! Get out and buy a stick you're missing out on a vital life experience Wink

I'm not sure when I oved this month hope clearblue will send me my trial stuff soon so I can work it out but think I should be due my af some time next week. Not sure if my tiredness is late nights and new job or a symptom. I think we're all going insane symptom spotting please someone stop me buying tests when I do the shopping tomorrow!!!

mrsmugoo · 14/05/2015 19:58

I'm way too early to test and I'd rather wait til I'm late - I know I'll be more upset with a bfn than the arrival of AF

DianaOstara · 14/05/2015 21:30

mrs I'm now joining you with the achey, symptom spotting hell! I have constant lower ab pain (just above pubic bone) and what my friends and I refer to (in private conversation!) as 'iron fanny' Blush ie heavy, dragging vulva. I want it to be a good symptom but it is so Type A of my typical period that I'm thinking AF is going to come any moment :(. I'm only CD22 ffs!

mrsmugoo · 14/05/2015 22:16

I'm checking the loo paper for the slightest bit of colour every time I wee Hmm

I can't cope. It's only my 2nd cycle! Good job I'm not in one of the main TTC threads on here I'd get eaten alive!

CharChar2015 · 15/05/2015 02:26

Hey all... Fingers crossed for you mrsmugoo & diana

Well.... My news! I went to Pilates yesterday and felt a bit weird & dizzy throughout so I decided to test this morn (13 dpo)... But only CD25 with ovulating early.... Anyway! BFP!!!! I can't quite believe it Shock and feel super nervous after my miscarriage last time! But hopefully this ones in for the long haul :-)

PattyODoors · 15/05/2015 06:48

Huge congrats CharChar! CD 4 here, long wait til I ov now. Like Bird I'm hoping that clear blue send my trial stuff through so I can start this month too. Wound hope you manage to get to the gp too.

DianaOstara · 15/05/2015 07:11

congratulations char :). so pleased for you!

Ok so I now fully into the 'crazy zone' (half way through 2ww!) amazingly we managed to dtd last night even though DH wasn't home from a long day at work til 10.30. It was purely a fun shag - didn't put legs in the air afterwards or anything! - thought this was good in case pains last night were late ovulation. As I've got a boozy weekend ahead and haven't poas for over a month thought I'd pee on one of my OPKs this morning = solid smiley. I know it's probably just late ov but on CD23 this is quite worrying, but a small part of me is trying to convince myself that OPKs can pick up pregnancy hormones?!? Confused. i know il buy pregnancy tests as soon as I can, telling myself I need to know ahead of the boozy weekend, and I know il be disappointed. So much for being relaxed this month! Be prepared that I may need emotional support for the next week!

mrsmugoo · 15/05/2015 07:34

Congrats char!!

I feel your pain Diana. Late ov is so annoying! If nothing this month then maybe try the soy isoflavones with me?

bluebeanie · 15/05/2015 08:41

Tested one day early. Can anyone see something?

CharChar2015 · 15/05/2015 08:43

It's pretty blurry blue but I think I can see a faint second line??

bluebeanie · 15/05/2015 08:50

Sorry, my cameraa phone is rubbish!

CharChar2015 · 15/05/2015 09:17

What cycle day are you? Are you going to test again tmrw ?

bluebeanie · 15/05/2015 09:42

I'm 11 dpo. I have a 12 day luteal phase, so I'll test tomorrow. This day is going to drag.

CharChar2015 · 15/05/2015 09:45

Fingers crossed for you - make sure you let us know ! It was hard to focus on properly but it did look like a second line Smile
