All ages and age gaps welcome!

I'm 29, have a 16mo DS, TTC since periods came back in July 2014, had a mc in Jan.

Anyone else?

Can I join please? We are ttc #2. Took 3 years to conceive DD but hoping we have some good news in the next few months.

34, cycle 14. DD 2.5 years. Currently on cd3.

mrsmugoo · 12/05/2015 20:03

Welcome dizzy!

DianaOstara · 12/05/2015 20:48

patty I'm the same - never sure when to count CD1! I usually go for bright 'you know it's started' day!

rae I think we may only get 3 good attempts in this cycle. I didn't use OPKs, just went by last month, and now by other symptoms I think I must have ovd earlier than I expected...it only takes 1!

wound and mrs it's so hard isn't it managing the mixture of emotions.

Welcome dizzy!

I've had a really good day today :). I struggled yesterday - worried that ov had passed due to my cm being thicker = lots of googling! I felt annoyed with myself as I was quite moody and distant with dd because of the stress of ttc. I've been much better today - busy at work, planned activities for after nursery (actually spent time googling 'lovely activities for my 3 year old' rather than 'why have I not got ewcm'!) and went for a run/chat with a good friend in the sun this evening. I'm in the 2ww but just trying not to 'wait'! What's done is done!

PattyODoors · 12/05/2015 21:40

Well I certainly know AF is here, the pain and bleeding is unreal. Even painkillers and copious amounts of junk food aren't helping Sad I know so many people that are due around Aug/Sept/Oct, I can understand the jealous feelings too and so want it to be me but I'm worried that my body's stopped working because I'm too old.

CharChar2015 · 13/05/2015 01:48

Thanks for the stats mrsmugoo

Hey dizzymerry - welcome :)

Really sorry to hear that wound it is so hard when people announce pregnancies and you're trying. Nearly as bad as when people ask you when you're having another one and tell you to get a move on! I mentioned earlier in the thread but 4 out of the 6 of us in my antenatal coffee group are pregnant!! Plus two other friends outside that circle! Sometimes hard to grin and be pleased - but I am now the initial "ouch" has gone if that makes sense.

Sorry the witch got you patty

I'm 11 dpo! And took all my available will power not to POAS this morn!! Not sure i can promise same for tmrw lol - is 12 dpo too early!?

mrsmugoo · 13/05/2015 07:17

Patty so sorry to hear the witch has got you :( chocolate biscuits and ibuprofen for you then onwards and upwards to the next cycle x

mrsmugoo · 13/05/2015 12:29

4dpo here. Boooooooring :(

MarysPrayer · 13/05/2015 13:00

Me too MrsM

Welcome Dizzy, my dd is 2 1/2 too.

DizzyMerry · 13/05/2015 13:14

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Sorry AF got you patty.

It's boring beyond belief here at cd4! I can't wait to get on with this cycle. Have acupuncture booked for Saturday and hoping it will help. I have low progesterone but have been temping which confirmed ovulation but I think my levels are too low for anything else to happen so hoping acupuncture will help.

I'm on the buses too but feel guilty moaning there as so many of the ladies are ttc #1. Whenever someone announces their pregnancy it's always followed by questions of why I'm taking my time! Er, I'm not it's just that my body isn't cooperating with me!!!

PattyODoors · 13/05/2015 16:07

Thanks ladies! Pain is just as bad today, thought I was going to pass out at one point this morning at work. Going to go to the docs as it can't be normal for it to hurt when you wee or sit down. Thanks to whoever posted about the clear blue trial, I've been accepted onto it today, they're sending me some paperwork.

bluebeanie · 13/05/2015 17:01

I thought I had all but ruled this cycle out as. Unlike my previous early pregnancy, I'd had no implantation pain (5dpo last time). I'm 9dpo, bfn this morning.

However, at 2pm today, I had the stabby sensations for a few seconds and I've had some pinky brown discharge just now. Ah!

My luteal phase is 12 days, so I've got to wait until Saturday. It doesn't help that I feel rough with flu like symptoms (hot/cold), but that is definitely not pregnancy related.

Come Saturday, should I use internet cheapies first? Are the more sensitive than Clearblue? I only have one of those. I've heard good things about Superdrug ones. Anyone recommend them? Thanks ladies

CarrotPuff · 13/05/2015 17:09

Sorry the witch got you Patty. Good idea to book GP appointment I think. Lots of Cake and [ibuprofen] for you!

Welcome Dizzy! I hope you get your BFP soon, that's a very long time to TTC, you're so strong Flowers

Char anything before AF is late is too early in my books Wink stay strong, and away from pissy sticks!

Trying my best not to think about which CD it is here! Not sure it's working though, I've already calculated I'm due to ov this weekend... Not started DTD yet, but hopefully tonight.

CarrotPuff · 13/05/2015 17:11

Yes blue, superdrug ones are good. Keeping everything crossed for you!

Carrotpuff - saw your wave in the 5:3 thread! Smile I've only just started doing it, seems like a no-brainier though! Really want to lose about a stone and a half to take me to pre-preg weight but if I get pg again soon who knows what will happen? Still, eating clean and no boozing can't hurt my chances of conceiving can they?

mrsmugoo · 13/05/2015 17:41

5:2 not 5:3 haha

mrsmugoo · 13/05/2015 17:42

Who's due to test next??

PattyODoors · 13/05/2015 19:21

Blue I got my bfp for my DD on a super drug, I really rate them. Fingers crossed for you Carrot

PattyODoors · 13/05/2015 19:21

Ooh and gp appt booked for Mon am for me.

Pixie2015 · 13/05/2015 19:58

13 DPO - several BFNs ! Normally 28-9 day cycle - to make matters worse due to go camping in field in 48h with v poor facilities so AF bound to arrive on time! Only think for it lots of vino!

Next month there will be no ovulation sticks - no daily DTD - going to spice things up and do a 13/15/17 effort!!!

mrsmugoo · 13/05/2015 20:37

Haha 13/15/17 - that's our pattern too haha!

DianaOstara · 13/05/2015 21:40

We've done 15/17/19 this month! I'm due af/test middle to end of next week.

Lovely non-ttc things enjoyed today - child-free shopping; a small lager and lime in the sun; watching the last episode of Safe House on catch-up :)

blue and pixie fx for you both - sounding hopeful!

mrsmugoo · 13/05/2015 22:14

We ended up doing 12 then 16/17/18 this month. AF due Monday. Only 9 days LP Hmm

woundbobbin · 13/05/2015 23:28

Interesting everyone is DTD on the odd days I'm an even day fan this month we are aiming for a bobbin record attempt of day 12/14/16/18/20 but am now thinking of going for 11/13/15/17/19 so as to fit in with you guys.
Patty hope GP appointment goes well I'm also heading in that direction this month appointment next week AF is only hanging around for a day or two at the moment which I'm sure is not helping with my quest for no 2.

DianaOstara · 14/05/2015 06:32

Go the Bobbins!!! Grin I'm hoping for a few more attempts next month - wanted to do last night but had pil staying (small house, thin walls!)

What CD are you mrs? I thought we were close cycle buddies. I'm CD22. Will be CD28 next Wednesday, AF could come on 28, 29 or 30 based on recent months. I've been worrying about LP too as not ovulating til day 19 (giving 9-11 days lp) - is there anything we can do about it?
