Looking for a Mum-to-be to buddy up! I'm TTC number 1 and not had any luck so far, having a couple of months off before we start trying again. x

I've never really taken much notice of my cycle either Issie, until I want to ttc lol I've never temped or used OPKs, #1 and #2 were conceived with ease, #3 might take some more work, we're both older now...:)

nickynackynoo31 · 31/03/2015 19:15

I'm similar to. never taken much notice and conceived #2 within 7 weeks..I've bought some opik tests and I haven't a clue when to even start testing with them as it's all new to me Shock x

babygiraffe86 · 31/03/2015 19:20

Hi ladies - i'm in if you'll let me. This packet of pills is to be my last, had unplanned preg then mmc 2 years ago so terrified a little bit , but in 3 weeks will be actively on our way towards mini Me or Mr :-)

sophiabella · 31/03/2015 19:39

Hehe I'm with you there, I did't realise I was so impatient until now!! I suppose it maks it all the more special doesn't it? If we could all get pregnant right away it wouldn't be as exciting... annoying still though!!!

Issie339 · 31/03/2015 21:13

Hi babygiraffe, sorry to hear about your mmc, I can understand why you're a bit scared this time around.

Brooke and Nicky, hopefully we'll all barely have to use those opks and will be pregnant in no time :)

Sophiabella, oh my goodness I am sooo impatient!! Also hate that it feels a bit of a lottery and out of my control- gahh!

nickynackynoo31 · 31/03/2015 21:47

I'm so impatient lol...I had coil removed on Thursday and have spent since then looking at baby things, prams the lot....I'm doing nothing but thinking about babies I'm going crazy lol xx

Issie339 · 31/03/2015 22:04

Haha, I'm already an expert on double buggies, can't stop browsing!

WaitingForEgg · 31/03/2015 22:40

Can I join in too? Ttc #1 been trying a couple of months so far
Am extremely impatient and a natural worrier so really hope it happens soon!
Have endometriosis so pretty nervous about it all working out!

CuppaSarah · 01/04/2015 06:25

Hello to the lovely people who have just joined!! Hoping for lots of bfps as the weeks go by!

Grin at the double buggies, it's impossible with the internet not to look into it all. My google history makes me look like a crazy TTC lady.

Does anyone else has irregular cycles here? Mine are a bit all over the place. Worse since having my daughter too. Fertility friend gave me back my cross hairs today though, but still not a convincing temp rise. So I'll keep up with the opks.

nickynackynoo31 · 01/04/2015 09:04

morning all.
cuppasarah. ..as I've not had proper AF in years I haven't a clue when it will come or not Sad . I have downloaded an app call ovia fertility and put the bleeding I had the day after removal as my period start just as a pin point really which is telling my my fertile window starts next Tuesday. ..here's hoping. Smile

I'm exactly the same my Internet history makes me look like a total nut job lol. I keep showing other half things and he just says when your actually pregnant then yes Sad ....sprinkling baby dust to us all and then let the BFPS roll in Smile Smile x

fruitlovingmonkey · 01/04/2015 09:53

Can I join please? I just had a MMC, my gyn said I should get my period in about a month (although I've read 4-6 weeks is the norm) so I'm hoping to be back ttc by mid/ late May or June. I know everyone doesn't feel the same but I feel it is important for me to get pregnant again as soon as it is safe to do so. We started ttc in Jan and got a BFP at the end of the month. Tbh I would have much rather had to wait a few months for my BFP than go through this physical and emotional trauma (not to mention a 5/6 month set back) but, trying to think positively, at least we know we can conceive. Sophia, I am also very impatient! Roll on May/ June!

Lookingforadvice123 · 01/04/2015 13:06

So sorry to hear about your miscarriage fruitlovingmonkey Sad I think it's impossible to know how you'll feel in that kind of situation so no one can comment on how quickly or slowly you want to get back into the ttc route. Best of luck once you can try again xx

fruitlovingmonkey · 01/04/2015 13:30

Thanks, I am really up and down emotionally at the moment, from totally zen to completely broken and back multiple times a day. I'm off on holiday for 10 days tomorrow so I figure that will provide a nice break and hopefully fix up my body then I can come back to a new start. Good luck to all the ladies who are already ttc, I hope to see some bfps when I'm back.

CuppaSarah · 01/04/2015 16:50

Oh fruit loving that really is tough. There's no rules for how you cope with such a horrible thing, all you can do is follow your own lead. I hope you fall pregnant again nice and quickly.

Nickynacky its such an absolute pain in the bum isn't it? I would love regular cycles, but alas my periods are all over the place.

Issie339 · 01/04/2015 18:05

Hi to all the new people.

Fruitloving, so sorry to hear you're going through that, it must be really hard so be kind to yourself, sounds as though you're being really strong.

Omg my google history is ridiculous at the moment!! Particular recurring highlights include: 'implantation bleeding', 'can you have your period and still be pregnant?', 'how long does it take the average person to get pregnant?' lols, must remember to wipe the iPad memory when I get home!!

Brooke113 · 01/04/2015 18:27

Issie-my Google history sounds like yours!
Sorry to hear about your mc FLM.
Today, I've been mostly googling Cm :( (embarrassed face) I'm Cd9 today, and have had lots of Ewcm when wiping, sorry TMI, I think it's too early for me to ovulate, as my cycles are around 32 days, geez this ttc malarkey is hard work!

nickynackynoo31 · 01/04/2015 18:29

sorry to hear that fruitlovingmonkey. I think it's totally a personal thing to how an you feel and when your ready to try again and no one can tell you any different. I hope you enjoy and relax on your holiday and come back refreshed and good luck for when you do ttc again x

It takes me all my time to remember to delete the history. oh thinks I've turned into a baby making crazy lady lol Shock

CuppaSarah · 01/04/2015 18:30

It really is hard work!! I'm feeling rough so googling illness effect on bbt. I might go totally natural next cycle as I really CBA with the stress right now. Work is super stressful too right now, plus I handle lead a lot and am really paranoid about it effecting my chances TTC.

VioletIbiza88 · 01/04/2015 19:57

Hiya can I join you all! Just joined the site today. Me and my partner are going to be starting trying this month. Im 27 he's 32, what ages are you all? Also does anyone else whose trying for their first not believe it will ever actually happen. Objectively theres no reason why it wont happen for us, but just wondering if its normal to have these feelings? Good luck to you all xxx

nickynackynoo31 · 01/04/2015 20:49

Hi violetibiza88
I'm 32 and im ttc #3. and I still spend many an hour thinking it won't happen to me. again there's no reason it shouldn't happen. I had miscarriage first then 6 months on conceived baby #1 and then #2 took just 7 weeks to conceive so hoping #3 doesn't take to long xx

Issie339 · 01/04/2015 21:01

Hi violet. I'm 30 and ttc no2. Yes I know exactly what you mean, I can't imagine I'll ever get pregnant again, in fact I can't imagine that I ever have been pregnant (I definitely have, she's nearly 2).

CuppaSarah · 02/04/2015 07:47

Hi violet. I'm 25 and TTC number 2. I still can't imagine it'll ever happen for me though. Despite managing it before and all, I think it's pretty normal to feel that way about it all.

Lookingforadvice123 · 02/04/2015 13:09

violet you a and are similar age, I'm 27 and DH will be 32 in a couple of months. His age is one of the factors that's spurred me on actually because ideally we'd like 2 kids about 4 years apart!

We're going to just "see what happens" from now, totally natural no opks or anything. I can't see it happening soon, if ever so thought we might as well! I don't even think my body is back to normal after stopping the pill which was 7 months ago! So I'm anticipating a long wait...

VioletIbiza88 · 02/04/2015 20:01

Well I'm glad that these thoughts seem to be the norm then! Interesting to hear from people who have had babies already and still think this too!!

Lookingforadvice - this month were also going to just see what happens. Mainly because my partner is working away during the week this month, so we only have friday evening to monday mornings, which might make it awkward for timing things right, so no point doing opk's and finding out Im fertile at the wrong time. So will just do what we can and hope for the best. Next month I'm probably not going to be able to help getting some opks though, as im already impatient and want to increase our chances!

CuppaSarah - which opk's do you use, the clear blue ones sound good but quite expensive (depending on how long they need to be used for!).

CuppaSarah · 02/04/2015 21:13

I use ones off eBay. 50 for 5.99 they're usually one step promartis. Last cycle they were fan, this cycle I've gotten lots of positives for seemingly no reason. So they may be a bit temperamental. I also took soyiso this month so that could be the cause. They're worth giving a go before the expensive clear blue ones I'd say.
