Looking for a Mum-to-be to buddy up! I'm TTC number 1 and not had any luck so far, having a couple of months off before we start trying again. x

Pre seed is a ttc friendly lube too, it helps create a lovely environment for the spermies lol alot of women have conceived the first time they're used it Smile

I'm really confused now as when to test. I've got ovia app and it's saying AF due Friday but ov was later then expected on there too and because it's first cycle in 5 years I'm a bit.confused...

Hmm Nicky sounds like AF might be due Monday then. If you know when you ov I'd probably base it on this and go +14 days rather than trust the app.

Nicky my app has always said AF is due on Monday 27th, it didn't alter it when I put my positive opk in for last Wednesday and Thursday. So I'm not expecting AF on Monday but counting 14 days and going for Thursday 30th. Hoping it won't be coming at all though!!!! Fxd!!!! Are you testing on Monday then??? x

Oh an had a horrible head ache today. But in other news my mother visited tonight and I managed to not think about babies for about 3 hours lol!

I'm not sure violet to be honest...I did the opks for about 5 days had 2 negs and then a positive on the Monday (not yesterday week before) then 2 lighter lines next day and then next then neg by the Thurs so I'm taking it I ov on the Monday. I think realistically I need to wait until Monday don't you think?? x

I don't know, I can't decide either between sunday, monday, wednesday and thursday lol! One minute im decided on sunday and then I think no I'd rather wait and not risk the disappointment! If you are testing before AF due I think a frer sounds your best bet.

Pinched from an amazon product description about frer. "In clinical testing, First Response detected hormone levels consistent with pregnancy in 62% of women 5 days before their expected period, in 78% of women 4 days before their expected period, in 87% of women 3 days before their expected period and in 98% of women 2 days before their expected period."

Also the strong opk you had on Monday is indicating a surge of LH, which means ov is expected to follow in 24-36 hours so it could have been Monday or Tuesday that you ov'd i guess.

Well I'm happy if I'd ov on either the Monday or Tuesday as we dtd Monday so should be covered Smile Smile .

I haven't a clue when to.do.the test...I may just go with the flow and see what happens over weekend.

I agree with you maybe wait as long as you can to avoid getting the wrong answer xx

Brooke we are currently ttc #4 (dd8, ds6, dd2 8mths) if it was you who asked- I think it was.

Have just had a wonderful night out with the girls arranged before we knew about Mr sparkles interview.

At tescos today I invested in a 2 pack of tesco cheapies and a clear blue digi for confirmation if I'm lucky enough to win a BFP. Now I just have to heed my own sage advice and leave well enough alone til Friday. X

Aw I'm sorry I will miss Friday but in all honesty sparkle I haven't a clue when is best to test lol....

No problems Nicky.
So glad I'm not the only one who need to address their weight.
I'm gonna weigh myself today and see exactly what needs doing.
Then start, I figure just eating sensibly and cutting out the crap will make a big difference with BF and hopefully building one! Should drop off right???

Violet maybe split the difference and test tues with frer? That's my best suggestion and sounds good - if youre pretty sure when you Ov'd then tues would be DPO 12?

I have 2 busy days now so distraction ahoy. I do solemnly swear to leave the pissy sticks in their hiding place until thurs pm when I shall remove them to their place of utilisation ready for that first wee wee of the day on fri.

Hi Brooke- AF hasn't arrived in it's full force yet (due today) but all the signs are there so I'm 98% sure I'm out.

So who's next to test, I've totally lost track? Is it Sparkles on Friday?

I've managed to do lots of washing and tidy up but been struck by a blinding headache in last hour Sad ....its that bad it's making me feel sick. since we decided to ttc I've held off taking painkillers which I know is a bit silly when not even sure if it's worked but I've had to take some just now. Sad Sad

Nicky- hope the headache is better. I read the other day that if you put your hands and feet in warm water and a bag of frozen peas on the back of your neck and sit like that for a bit it alleviates migraines/headaches by re-directing the blood or something. Worth a try if you don't want to take tablets.
