Well done Nicky, its 7dpo you would have just been disappoint as far to early yet. I've had stomach cramps today at 4 or 5dpo. Trying not to get excited about that and saying its probably nothing! Work is being a fairly good distraction until I get another twinge an then I'm back thinking again. But overall definitely been more chilled out about things today. Hope your all ok x

Issie339 · 20/04/2015 20:20

Ooh that's a good sign Violet, fx for you!

StrawberryPav42 · 20/04/2015 20:24

Sorry to hear that Brooke, good that you're keeping positive of next month though :)

In distraction town its magazine-o-rama, reading seems to keep my mind better occupied it seems, stops mind wandering....hows everyone else keeping busy?

nickynackynoo31 · 20/04/2015 20:41

I've got cramps again but stronger bit like period pains Sad Sad Sad x

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 20/04/2015 20:42

Strawberry Weekday daytime is good at keeping me distracted-ish as we're pretty busy at work at the moment. Otherwise I don't have much distraction. TV doesn't seem to get my attention too easily. Maybe I just need to find something new to watch. Although saying that, Dr G on ID channel is pretty interesting!

nickynackynoo31 · 20/04/2015 23:30

fingers crossed violet xx

sparklesandfizz · 21/04/2015 06:42

Damn the light mornings! Little miss sparkle wide awake.
Trying desperately not to symptom spot

Violet you're also sounding good

Nicky - stop with the twinge analysis tis bad for the health!!!

Wishing everyone another wonderful day.....maybe I know you're up so at least there's two of us!

Big day for the sparkles household today.....Mr Sparkles has a job interview, would mean the world if he got it. Currently we both switch round every 6 months however this job would mean he get to serve out his days in ONE Place, and it's a nice place. In fact it's the one he's always said he'd want to work at permanently and having upped the little sparkles and moved into our dream family home tail end of last year we wouldn't have to move again. ( the pay rise would also be v helpful as I appear to be addicted to mat leave hehe )

My brain is doing bad things like telling me it can't be our lucky month for both jobs and babies so I have gracefully decided that
I would prefer Mr s to get his job as if my mental bargaining with fate holds much sway... ( at this point) however will still be peeingmost hopefully on a stick on fri with you Nicky))

Going to need double distraction today therefore have saved the supermarket shop for today.

Issie339 · 21/04/2015 08:25

Ooh good luck to Mr Sparkles for his interview! Are there a number of rounds of interviewing or is he likely to know a decision soon?

I was up at 4:45 with DD then back to sleep and up at 5:40 with the alarm- a work day today, boooo! How am I going to do this without coffee??? Thinking of cutting it out altogether, thoughts? Will it help in the ttc? It's going to be soooo hard!!

Nicky and Violet how is 'twinge-watch' this morning? Smile

sparklesandfizz · 21/04/2015 09:20

Just today aaarrrggh!
I'm a crazy tea drinker but I think the coffee addicts have it harder.
Said to help with ttc if you can do it issie.
I've always naturally become really tea and coffee averse once pregnant.

Issie339 · 21/04/2015 09:52

I know you're right Sparkles, it's just not what I want to hear haha. I've cut down to 1 a day but after AF this time I think I'll try cutting it out altogether.

massive sigh

Eek, keep us updated on how Mr Sparkles gets on!!

nickynackynoo31 · 21/04/2015 10:45

good luck Mr sparkles ..

I have no symptoms today so I'm feeling it's not my time either Sad Sad .
trying to keep busy so as not to think about it but it's so hard xx

VioletIbiza88 · 21/04/2015 10:47

Well no more stomach pains yet today. In symptom spotting news I was acutely aware of someone's breath in a meeting today, but I guess they could just have had really bad breath!!!

Nicky are you managing to stay away from those tests? I'm thinking of testing on Sunday with a frer, i will be 10dpo on Sunday, is that too early?? I don't want to do it on Monday an then have to go to work if its not the news I want.

Hope everyones having a good day x

VioletIbiza88 · 21/04/2015 10:49

Nicky, no symptoms doesn't mean anything, we shall both have to wait and see. When are u testing?:-) x

sparklesandfizz · 21/04/2015 11:17

I'm completely symptom free but not panicking (much!) ?? Cd 24 today DPO 12 I think. Usually 28 - 30 day cycles but month #1 and hadn't given cycle much thought before hasty ttc decision.

Violet - Sunday may be ok with sensitive test eg frer
Am trying to stay calm and collected and resist stockpiling tests of differing sensitivities.

Testing too early induces madness, grief and empty pockets as the temptation following BFN is to retest daily until af shows or BFP and pissy sticks not cheap.

Also think I actually prefer arrival of af to signal I'm out rather than the exciting but ultimately soul destroying 5 min heart pounding wait for the line appear.....great if BFP BUT just devastating if BFN. Af annoying but gentler somehow.

Having said that I have an appointment with miss Nicky Friday early doors and am nervous just thinking about it.

Thankyou lovely ladies for bestwishing Mr S on his job quest, have just packed him off with shiny shoes and instructions to relax and smile. Fx

sparklesandfizz · 21/04/2015 11:19

Waiting for Af requires patience I don't have hey ho!

nickynackynoo31 · 21/04/2015 12:07

I'm cd 21 and dpo 8 so is Friday too early for me?? I'm just going on the app I downloaded and as it's first cycle after coil removal I'm just not sure what to do now..

sparkles you do make me laugh Smile Smile .

violet maybe with a sensitive one yes...

someone has to get a BFP soon....fx xx

Brooke113 · 21/04/2015 16:56

Nothing to report from.me. I'm.Cd2 and counting down the days until I can use my ov sticks again :)

Looking forward to reading some positive posts soon :)

So nicky you're trying for dc3 aren't you? What about you Sparkles? Sorry if you've said recently, I'm.on my phone and it takes me ages to scroll through Grin

Brooke113 · 21/04/2015 17:02

Oh I have no caffeine troubles here I'm.afraid, as I have to have decaff here :( I am overweight at the moment though, due to housemove, new job and general laziness, am trying to get back into.healthy eat mode as need to realistically lose around 3 stone :( I'm.seriously blaming my.weight on not conceiving easily this time around, as I.was young and slim when we had dc1.

nickynackynoo31 · 21/04/2015 17:06

Yes brooke I'm ttc #3... (I must be mad) I am seriously overweight but it's how I've always been and at 6 ft 1 I seem to get away with it a bit which is why I don't. think it bothers me too much... I should try to cut down tho as the.chocolate and me have a seriously good relationship!! xx

Issie339 · 21/04/2015 17:24

The thought of coffee is the only thing that gets me out of bed some mornings, haha (kind of joking but kind of not!!) but if it means getting that BFP I'll give it a go.

Has anyone tried or heard good things about Conceive Plus?

By way of positive thoughts Brooke, if I get my bfp next month my EDD will be 30th Jan Grin

Brooke113 · 21/04/2015 17:25

I'm trying to conceive dc3 too nicky my weight concerns me alot, I Need to diet seriously :( I'm trying though, not having an easy time, had blood tests the other day to check my thyroid to.see if that has anything to do with my weight gain, it didn't, but my iron levels are seriously low :(

Brooke113 · 21/04/2015 17:30

Oh my gosh Issie you've worked out your edd already lol Grin I can't even tell the difference between caffeine free now I've had it for so long. Ice not heard of conceive plus, but I'm thinking in investing in pre-seed.

Issie339 · 21/04/2015 18:53

Absolutely! Got to keep moving forwards Grin I'm thinking positively and May is going to be my month.

Is Conceive Plus a pre-seed? Sorry if I'm being dense, I haven't heard that term before.

Low iron Brooke, you must be feeling really drained Sad are you taking supplements now?

nickynackynoo31 · 21/04/2015 19:08

I have no idea what you ladies are talking about lol...what's pre-seed or concieve plus???

sorry now I'm being dense!! Grin Grin

Issie339 · 21/04/2015 19:13

Nicky I don't know what pre-seed is either! Brooke, enlighten us!

Conceive Plus is a lube that is supposed to aid conception, think it helps the sperm.
