Ooh what have you ordered Issie? I've ordered preseed and it's due next week, and I'm going to start the dtd marathon next Wednesday too, I'm.literally counting the days down Grin

If by some miracle I did get a BFP this month after all would obviously be delighted but would also be like 'goddamn!! I've just spent £60 on a ttc tool-kit!!' Lols

Nicky I think I'm officially in the tww now! DTD sunday (19th) and last night (21st). Phone app predicted ov on 20th, plus I've used 4 cheap ov sticks over the past few days. Yesterday morning's was quite faint, this morning's a lot darker. Have held my wee for a few hours and did one when I got home from work, which was really pale again (taking into account wee might be diluted a bit). So looks like I've ov'd in the past 24hrs!

Might dtd again later and give ourselves a bit more chance this cycle!

Im out! :( AF arrived this afternoon completely unexpected as although it's CD27 today I'm only 6 or at most 7 dpo. I don't understand how i can have such a short luteal phase?? Currently having a guilt free latte' and theres a big piece of chocolate cake in the cupboard with my name on it for later! Not gonna lie, gutted :(

Oh Violet I'm so sorry, is it definitely Af and not implantation bleeding? did you definitely ov when you think you did, as that is a very short leutal phase, anywhere between 10-16 days is the norm (so I've read) definitely treat yourself hun xx

Agnus Castus is a herbal/plant-based tablet that is supposed to be amazing at regulating your cycle and sorting out any hormonal imbalances. I've noticed my AF has been very short and light the last few months so thinking of taking it. It doesn't help conception as such but sorts your cycle out. That's what I understand of it anyway

Issie sounds like you are well tooled up for a May BFP. The law of sod says having spent so much you'll get a BFP this month now. Not that you'd complain I'm sure !!! Are you still awaiting af?

Maybe ... Tww definitely the worst bit.

Nicky me ol' mucker headaches are good and to be embraced as far as symptom spotting goes.

I am being good and ignoring the sticks, headache and exhaustion today but out all day in sun not drunk enough fluid and dd2 teething and having bad nights so those symptoms I am taking at face value rather than attach any great significance to them.

Mr S over the moon about job and me too. Hes on call again tonight so Ill be chatty later if anyone about.

Brooke I'm taking pregnacare with omega3 but having issues with fish oil repeating on me. Not got dh on anything wasn't aware there was a supplement for men ttc have you seen one?

Sparkles-in boots when I bought my pregnacare, there were his and hers ttc vits, I didn't dare get them as hubby already thinks I'm turning into crazy ttc lady lol I didn't look what was in the male vit, but I'm thinking if I get dh vits to take without ttc pics all over the box he's more likely to take them, just need to find out which vits men should take, I'm.sure zinc is one of them.

I've bought OH Wellman Conception but they haven't arrived yet. Hopefully he'll take them!

Sparkles- not had full AF yet (due today/tomorrow) but all the signs are there so pretty sure it's on it's way unfortunately. So glad your OH is over the moon with the new job Smile

Brooke - I'm pretty sure its AF and not implantation bleeding. It's fairly heavy and I've only ever heard of implantation bleeding being like spotting or really light bleeding??

Sparkles - It was completely unexpected as wasn't expecting AF for another week at least yet! OV date was from positive opk on Wednesday, so OV was Wednesday or Thursday so either 6 or 7 days luteal phase.

Brooke I've read the same about the luteal phase, 10-16 days, the longer the better apparently as more likely for any pregnancy to stick. 6 or 7 days is not normal is it!

Now reading up on vit b6 incase my cycle makes a habit of doing this, as some people say that has helped them to increase luteal phase. Also ive been told in the past by the doc that im deficient in b12 and was on tablets for it, so having a look online to see if that is in any way related to cycle length?

I'm.so.sorry Violet no, a 6-7 day leutal phase isn't good, maybe you.could have a chat with your doctor or nurse? But the b6 sounds like a good idea :)

No idea re: opk's but violet could it be possible that you got false positives last week. You said you were originally expecting af earlier and that today was cd27 & it was ov sticks that made you switch dates?"

Where abouts in the ttc madness are you ie which cycle are you guys on and were you regular and predictable before?

sparkles this cycle coming up will be #3, although we've been " just seeing how it goes" for the last 12 months, we've only been properly trying and tracking ovulation for the last 2 cycles x

I'm going to stop googling now, nothing good comes of googling, especially googling short luteal phase. I'm instead going to get some vit B complex tomorrow and start thinking about next cycle. Roll on May it's mine and Brooke's and Issies!! Nicky, Sparkle and the others you can have April lol! Thanks for the words of encouragement everyone!

Sparkles, I have no idea if you can get false positives on opk's. I guess you would have to have the rise in the hormones estrogen and LH to get the positive opk, but then maybe its possible not to actually ovulate after the hormone rise? I did start opk'ing a bit late into the cycle, think I started on CD14 so have no idea what was happening up to that point. Will be starting a lot earlier this time round, so hopefully will get a clearer picture. x

How old are your dc's brooke

Can everyone tell I'm feeling clever as have just worked how to do bold writing on here! ( ok so it may well be a simple case of following the clear set of idiot proof instructions at the bottom of each page but has always eluded me previously ahem)

Are any of you ladies clever enough to make a full stats list as I keep forgetting who's been trying how long, if it's longed for dc#1 or 2,3,4,5 etc and when BFP's are due. Also may be useful to know what methods folk are using beside the obvious (and if you don't know what that is then you are automatically evicted right now lol!) for example temping, opk etc

I'll kick off

Age 34 cycle 1 ttc dc4 (2 beautiful girls and a handsome little man) currently just dtd with no additional technologies, BFP due this Friday hopefully (Af due over weekend)

Just about to post and hoping my bold names turn out ok or I'm gonna look like a proper 'nana - fx here goes....

I'll wager that is it violet and not a luteal phase of 6 days. It just seems implausible. Love and hugs and step away from Google it is not your friend. We are your friends and will be celebrating with you next month when you get your BFP X
