Can't cope not knowing?!!

Wondering if anyone could shed some light on my situation...

In a nutshell- I'm a day or two late for my period now, did a test friday just gone which was an immediate positive and all tests since have been negative. I'm all over the place I don't know what to think!!

Hi chan. That dyes sound very frustrating and upsetting.
It could be a couple of things... Athe more recent tests you took, are they as sensitive as the first one? Some tests detect much smaller smounts if HCG than others. So if the first one you used is super sensitive, but the other ones you used were not as sensitive, it will take a few days longer for you to have enough of the HCG hormone to detect.
Have you used first morning urine with them all?

I had heard of chemical pregnancy. Could that explain why I'm late now aswell? The test that gave me the negative was the same brand that gave me the positive on friday. Tested again this morning, negative again. So frustrating!

It could explain why you're late as well now yes.
As you'll know, the pregnancy hormone is HCG and that is what pregnancy tests detect. In early pregnancy the HCG levels are supposed to rise each day. If you tested positive on Friday but then got negatives it could indicate that your HCG levels are dropping so no longer detectable.
I'm sorry, it's really sad.
