Gearing up for August ...

Hey all,

My partner and I have recently decided 6 start trying in August. I don't really drink, never smoke buy do have a bad tea habit. Trying to cut back to one cup a day is sooooo damn hard.

Any who I'm a little worried as my other half is a diabetic... anyone else in the same boat and will this effect or chance?

Admittedly not started folic acid or any vitamins yet, but hope to do so within the next month.
Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Much love
Twinkle

Hi twinkle I don't do tea but I'm HUGE coffee addict but once I knew we were trying I managed to cut down no problem .... I go with 2 a day and switch to decaff where I can! Don't smoke and don't really drink!!

What made you want to start trying in August?? It's exciting isn't it x

Hi Twinkle, my dh is type 1 so it has crossed my mind but we've only just started ttc so I think I'll wait a while before I start worrying about that.

Doctors say to start folic acid/preconception vits about 3 months before. There's lots of different kinds to choose from!

I'm probably on two cups of tea a day just now and likewise don't smoke and rarely drink.

Good luco when the time comes!

Luck*, although luco has a nice ring to it.

Thank you :) I'm worried as I'm starting a new job next week too.

Could be problematic!

The caffeine thing is getting to me lol.
Keep me up to date on how you all get on!!

Twinkle xx
