TTC #2 at 38, anyone else ?

Been over 5 yrs since we TTC and being much older now am worrying! Tell me I'm not alone :-)

I'm 38 been ttc since jan, got several faint positives last week, af is a week late so before I take the faint ones as a definite I'm waiting to do a clearblue later this week. I have lots of friends who have conceived and been older than us as well, my fear is what people will say but I guess it's our choice not there's isn't it and just to add it's been 14 yrs since I was last pregnant haha

You're not alone pattyo! I've just got a bfp on cycle 3. I'm 37 but will be 38 when dc is born. Good luck.

I'm 38 in 1 month today. I have a 3.5 year old chap so I'm nearly 5 years out of practice!!! I can feel 40 looming and worry about my little eggs shriveling up.

We're on cycle 3 now. it's doing my nut!

I'll be 38 this year and also TTC#2. The clock is stressing me a bit but you are not alone Patty. On cycle 6 here and trying not to overthink (but generally failing!). Good luck!

I am 38 (will be 39 this june). We are ttc since September 2012. During that time I had 2 mc (both time a got pregnant around easter).

But I know lots of women who were older. And as my consultant for infertility put it the other week. I have lots of time -women with 45 still getting pregnant. - What an idiot because I hear the clock ticking, louder and louder.

Had our DD when I was 31 without any problem conceiving her but she was 5 weeks early.

I'm 39 in just over 2 months, this is our first cycle of trying for #2 and I'm trying desperately not to symptom spot at the mo as I'm in the TWW, I'd forgotten just how tediously long it is! I got pg with our first on the first cycle and DH thinks it'll just happen like that again, but I'm not so sure!

Unfortunately I had a mc at the weekend @ 5 1/2 weeks. I'm devastated but determined to keep trying.

Can I join in. I will be 38 in July. I have been TTC #2 since September 2011 and it's been a very long 4 years.

I can only imagine the devastation MarysPrayer. Thinking of you.
